Element transfer

How do you transfer weapons's element? Is it like affixes? If the Japanese of the affixes gives the element affect (e.g. Poisin) then why does it have a different symbol on the left of those Japanese characters?



Finally how do you upgrade the elemtent affect? Do you need 9 weapons with poisin to make a single level 2 poisin weapon?

As far as element go, you don't transfer them. You can only make them stronger.

Yep. Getting element on an item is the only way one base item can be strictly superior to another of the same type forever. Everything else can be transferred, grinded, etc.
