Question about MAGs [Archive]

so while leveling my MAG to 100, I made both the stricking stat and ability stat got to 50 thinking that I was going to get a specific 3rd evolution form, only to find out that my information was wrong, well by level 105 i had fixed the problem and my MAG was now the design that I wanted, so I continued feeding it weapons to keep it full, it is now level 115 and and has evolved into the striking MAG. My question is, has this happened to anyone else?

it can change every 5 levels.
it'll stay delphi as long as Strikingstats > Ability+Shootstats
to get it to change back to cygnus you gotta get it back to Ability+Shootstats > Strikingstats

Ah, okay, I see. I thought once it was in its 3rd form that it would stay like that even if I changed its stats.

So, as long as you don't bork your MAG raising and end up getting a wrong first evolution, you can fix your MAG for it's second and beyond evolution?

Yes.

Assuming you aren't already at a wide 80/20 split by the time you get to 100.

Once you pass 100, your mag is locked into a type - tech striking range etc.
However by changing the stats you can switch between any of the 3 lv100+ mag forms of that type (eg. switching Monoceros to Carina for Forces).
