before i make the new one id like any suggestions possible currently i use partisan and sword the most but never bother with charging the bar for partisan. only need to use ragne lance and akision gunslash for rares so need at least 400 s.atk.
im female human hunter. my mag is 66 strike 67 ability

I think the biggest factor for HU skill trees is to know which gear gauges you want and focus on that.

Fury Stance is a good DPS skill but you have to be good at dodging. Aside from that it's really just get what sounds good to you.

Still looking at builds myself.

ah i see i use partisan and sword mainly but only find sword gear useful really never bother with charging the bar on partisan but was wonder if fury critical would help or if maxing ja bonus 1-2 with fury stance would yield more dmg

Fury critical is kind of meh in my opinion.

Critting in this game doesn't have significant advantages like in most games (150%/200% damage). Critting just ensures that you hit the (near) maximum damage that your weapon can output.

20% is OK, but for 10 points invested, it's not really worth what it seems.

If I'm not mistaken, JA Bonus caps at 110% at level 10, so getting both would give you 20% more damage on your JAs.

For absolute brute force, I'd take my vote on Fury stance + Double JA.

I'm thinking about using this build myself

However, I was thinking about balancing myself out and doing this so that I can equip those 398 s-def units

What does the Partisan, Wired Lance, and Sword Gear skills do? Does it unlock that weapon type or more advanced versions of it or something?

Fits with what I think you want you can omit the guard tree if you wish but its pretty good very easy timing.

Dash step attack is such a useful ability, I would not recommend neglecting it. The ability to JA a PA at the beginning of a combo is something not to be neglected. It also lets you do some combos you normally wouldn't be able to without it.

Got to level 30 soloing without it (if that means anything).

I think it's not necessary, just helpful.

And as I mentioned, the build is for BRUTE force. Nothing but crunching out those numbers.

I know that step attack is good for set ups, but I don't like that you have to DASH to start it.
