You should probably start doing your own matter board and client orders.

K, the client guide was helpful, and I have a much better understanding for the matterboard now..But seriously, I still don't understand how to unlock the level 9 forest quest or the caves
Edit: Sry for being such an annoying asshat, I just wanna play this game like it's supposed to be played!

Dude dont listen to these guys.

You do not have to do ur matter board at all to unlock caves.
Just do Coffee client orders for all new area unlocks etc.

Coffee is right next to one of the quest counter ladies in the lobby. Do those quests, should be all you need.

You also need to do Afin's requests, otherwise the other client requests will not open up.

to unlock last mission in any area usually you need to do 2 previous missions with s rank and to collect something
thats same to forest, caves, desert and tundra

Matterboard and Affin client orders are not necessary, the only client orders that are necessary to unlock new quests and areas are from Koffee.

Basically what you need to unlock new areas. First you need to complete the first 4 Forest quests at least once (probably you already did this), then you need to do Koffee's client order to unlock the Forest Exploration quest.

Follow the link that Bigsten posted, it has a list of Koffee client orders, which are usually the most important client orders.
