Which weapons from PSOBB would u like to see in PSO2?

So far i have seen Kireek´s weapon (the hucast from the very first pso quest)...

I´dl ike to see Jizai, Dark Flow, and maybe some double edged sabers, can´t even begin to imagine what combos would be like, in this game, with the last type i mentioned, but HAS TO BE COOL!

So, any weapons u miss from psobb that u would like to see on pso2 ? :D

Probably about 80% of all the rare weapons in pso. I don't want them all now though it would be cool if they released a few with each lvl cap up. In particular I would like to see the rifles and the rods.

well, now that u mention it, there werent many rare rods, and not SO many rares rifles...Most of the rares i remember were hunter weapons...few ranger, and barely a single force wep, aside of those bluehilde heads, or whatever they were called...

Agito would be cool as a Sword, instead of a saber...never like G. assassins arms, or any of the "mob limb" weapons...

Question came to my head when i saw an actual original PSO weapon, not saying that all weps should look like the old ones, since so far im liking better the new ones, BUT, "if there was an old one that u would like to see in this game, as they have already added at least 1 PSO weapon on pso2"

Maining a force right now and none of the cards from the original PSO really did it for me. Rods either, I use to run around with a Battle verge as my cosmetic weapon of choice though. So that get's my vote.

I mainly used canes and wands in that game. GO GO SUMMIT MOON! I did use a chaos sorcerer's rod simply for the stats, not for the look. Oh and I guess Caduceus was nice.

I mainly liked the joke weapons, like wok of Akiko's shop, Madam's umbrella, and Huge battlefan were my main choices from those weapons.

Maybe from Zero I'd like to see the Yasminkov M95 and M109s return. They're probably the best Yasminkov guns in the series. If they bring back lasers, then add Tartaros and Chaos Cannons.

Well, the thing about that is, some of those specials (Like frozen shooter's) were varying from junk, to cheap, to game breaking. It's why everybody bawed viciously over Spread Needle even though it was nerfed. It's why if you had a Frozen Shooter, all other rifles and sometimes other guns in general were worthless to you. It's why Charge Vulcan were THE mechgun of choice. It's why Excalibur is the most broken saber ever. It's why Zanba can top the Tsumikiri J sword despite the latter's extreme ATP. Following that, it's why Dark Flow was reduced to a novelty item.

PSO weapon balance was horrible all around. Rarity isn't a solution to this.

So rebalance the specials, don't fucking remove them. Weapons are now a model and damage number - nothing more. Nothing makes a weapon's functionality unique unless it's tekked with lucky rise, and even then the extra affixes can be entirely random so the model still doesn't mean anything. The only static affixes I know of are burn on a few weapons and HP on the last survivor - which, again, only unique because of lucky rise. If you don't care about that, you can transfer those to any weapon.

Allow me to clarify.

PSO came out 10 years ago, if the "10th anniversary" logo has any validity to it. Blue Burst came out in 2004. This is the year 2012, and a completely different game.

New stuff please, not rehashes. They've had the time to come up with them.

psobb is pso1 stupid. pso has 4 episodes btw.
episode 1 (came out in the olden days on dreamcast (and pc, and ver2, etc))
episode 2 (has ep 1 with it, came out on gamecube)
episode 3 (never tried it)
episode 4 (you know, blue burst lololol?)

you can play ep1,2,and 4 on psobb. therefore, psobb is a part of pso1, because pso1 is integrated exactly with psobb, except for the duping which was in ep1 and 2.
get destroyed! also, development started in 2009 or so for pso2, so they did not have as much time as you think "they" had to develop "new" weapons (you probably thought 10 years, but if they don't get paid for their work, they won't be making concept art for pso2 in 2001)

while i respect and consider intelligent, ppl that are looking forward to "ALL new weapons" (makes perfect sense)...I still cant see why they acuse players of not moving forward into the new gen of pso (it IS STILL PSO), since we are playing PSO2, and not PSU or PSOBB.

remember final fantasy XII (probably im the only one that likes that game), noone like it, at least most of FF fans hated it, mainly, they had no way to connect or relate the game to its previous releases...all new summons noone knew, a non turned based combat, licenses, characters dont dont fit into their expected roles...Same for PSU, was so far distant, from PSO, that liking it was already a challenge.

I have no doubt they will reboot some old weapons, like it or not, the ones we mentioned or not...

And is not a nostalgia thread as much as it is a curiosity filler, since i have already said, im liking PSO2 so far as it is in every single aspect (weapons included)...

For example, in pso2, getting a rare in the first lvls is kinda common and cool, compared to pso, where u had to at least be on hard mode to start seeing very cheap rares...s that´s a point for pso2.

Dont mix things pso2 exists cause of pso, if they have the time to make useless bikinis, they could spend some more making useful weapons, no question they will reboot some (more) pso weapons whether you like the weapons or not, you like that FACT or not...Of course we all hope they arent as broken as they were on psobb.

PSO2 has to be to the PS saga what Sonic generations HAD to be (to redem) for Sonic saga...This game better pick all elements made the original good, with, of course several tech improvements...

And one last thing, rather ppl that answer "none" to this thread, which is an actual answer, than ppl that go around the subject to acuse players to be stuck in the old ways...curiosity, discussion, pso, fun...And Flamberge lol

Because there was nothing wrong with the designs of the previous weapons and people would like to see new life breathed into their classic favorites.

We've already got a few of them from Zero, but specifically, I'd like to see Over End on my sword, Earth Bullet on a gunslash, and Bite Stamp on ... something.

I also demand the return of Bogga Zubba. Fists will not be the same without the PAUNCH.
