Ok so far.
Hit lvl 40
Found 9 star rifle times 2
Found a red box of cards
found the tails card rare
found 3 zanbas one as a red box
Found daylight scar as a box times 3
found two different types of gunslash rares both boxes
And finally i managed to complete the first matter board.
That takes dedication lol

EDIT: almost forgot i got my daylight scar to plus 10. And found all the rare units for range def

My only achievement is finding 2 Talis Legacies in one city run.

Now I have 5. I also have 4 of those "rare" gunslashes.

Nice to see this thread finally return, but with PSO2's droprates updates might be slower than other games.

So far since Open Beta all I've found is 4-5 of the 7* Gunslash (the golden one with the twin blades that flick out) and a 7* card.

Today I did manage to get Poison III on a Wired Lance though, despite it being a 25% success rate. As if Caterdran wasn't easy enough already :lol:

Let's see... Besides the 7* Gunslash and 4*/5* items, probably the coolest thing that I've found is the dragon head furniture item. I was excited about that, though I dunno how rare it actually is. Oh, and I've found the 7* Talis that shoots feathers. Other than that, nothing too special from enemy drops. I did get one of those blue parrot things from the FUN scratch! Now, if only I had a room to put all this stuff in...

Finally +10'd my Patty Lumeria after a bajillion tries and countless grinders/meseta going down the drain. :< Feels good.

Also tossed Vol Soul + Power 2 on one of the units I planned on using and +10'd it. Sold my Stella Twinkle for ~2mil and one of the 9* hunter leg armors for 900k.. so that really helped me make some cash.

It's an arm piece that does phys, ranged, and wind reduction as well as raises phys defense. See how much they sell for on the auction house and re-evaluate your luck :3

Got a signo blade and dinia edge for pretty cheap prices, then got them both to +9 with only about 50-60 failures between them. This is muy bueno. Lucky Rise on both, burn etc.

And now I continue the hunt for my own signo blade drop in proper style - slapping signos with their own arms.

edit: forgot I actually used a full stack of grinders before going back for more... Still, it's better than that time with the vol scale.

Spent 650k getting Rappy Soul and Burn 2 on my fire Alba Laser

I'd consider this an accomplishment for how bogus ability adding can be, since it takes a certain amount of luck to fail 50 ish times.

First, let me just say... I hate you so very, very much :p
Secondly, how!? I've hunted so many rockbears looking for that wired lance, and I even used a 50% rare boost item trying to hunt them, but I've come up empty. And out of curiosity, what ship are you on? I'm on 10, and checking the quest weapon drops, only 37 have dropped on the server... Congrats, though, that's quite the find.

For interesting drops, I found an un-teched Last Survivor, which got five abilities on it after I teched it. I also found the spardeon partisan on my third run through free mines.

Managed to get Mizer Soul and Shoot III on it, and Grinded it to +9 (Ran out of Grinders, and.. well, with the abilities it has it's practically +10 status regardless). Hoping someone buys it. :D

Jesus, so, I gave up tekking wired lances, right? They're always daylight scars. This latest untekked wired lance drop has been sitting in my bank for days. I don't want to spend the 13-20k to tekk it.

I find an untekked talis while whomping on Ragne. I know I just killed a little krada darker thing. I know it's a legacy talis. I figure, I may as well keep everything tidy and just tekk all of it.

My face when I pop out of the tekking roulette wheel with a lucky rise/spirit II dark element bell card. This is why we always always always choose proper elements and affixes, people!

Off to the markets! I don't care if it's not as valuable anymore, I'mma sell it. Or maybe I'll use it, I haven't decided yet. It sure looks neat. These are pretty much the affixes I wanted anyway.

Oh but the talis I figured was a talis legacy was indeed a talis legacy. Off to the vendors!

Fire Arms is 8* and it has a lower base then that one but a nice sfx when fired, its the long barreled rifle with red glowing on it, you see very few people using it such as me.

Sold my Fire Arms for 2.2 mil, invested only 400-500k to get it to +10 with Mizer Soul and Shoot III. Felt pretty good considering it had no element and would have been a hard sell otherwise.

I don't think i set any Goals Yet, Id like Decide on what weapon i like the most for Hunter. Im Split between Partisan/Wired Lance/Gun Slash. Recently ive been using the Partisan but the only downfall is that the PA i like the most and does the most damage does 35 PP making it harder to use :( But I guess i can say my Goal is to get Poison V, Vol Soul, Ability or Arm V, and Power V. That in of itself is Crazy but ill try :)

After having a bit of no decent rares dropping at all, I've had some unholy luck today.

- Two Daylight Scars (because lol, no hunt is complete without finding them...)
- Two Bell Cards (one with poison, the other with a strike increase iirc)
- Ragne Answerer (irony is that was my first boss rare in open beta)
- Three Snorkels
- Spread Legacy (mine sucked, and I did break down and purchase a better one...with more than 0 affixes and no element)

Hopefully this luck can keep up, but I have no idea where it's coming from. I won't complain, however...

MY MAG RESURRECTED ME, FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER!

Seriously. The resurrection skill was the first one I gave to my Mag and he never revived me until this afternoon.
But well, my happiness wasn't all that great, since I was with a friend and he could easily revive me but w/e.
Oh, and I was full HP after that, so that's great. Too bad the activation rate is so low.

Have you played any other MMO?

Consider the Affix items + Grinders as just extra money. If you think about it this way the cost then becomes the same idea as scrolls/ enhancement things in other games. Instead of having those stupid items and stuff like 50% scrolls, 60%, etc... you just have it split into different parts. This I'd say it works much better as overall it IS much cheaper. I mean affix items and grinders are quite damn cheap even though you fail alot (to balance it out). I don't want stupid stuff like scrolls costing a shit ton then just out right failing.

After what seemed like a crazy idea, I decided to do it.

I managed to get Garland with the affixes of Ragne Soul, Technic III, and Mutation. Just to help my OCD and break that 600 T-ATK mark. Worked on the first attempt, the success rates were 50%, 60%, and 50% without modifier and all of them managed to transfer over which I was thrilled about. (Used the 5%+ thing because.. well, every percent counts).

I wasted about 400k, and even then about half of that came from player shops buying what I needed. Technique III with 3 affix slots is not cheap. I could make it myself but I can imagine it costing more than to just buy knowing my usual luck.

You could always add more affix slots to add more to your weapon.

Although the process can be quite pricy.. moreso if Dudu trolls you.

Decided to do Koffee's CO for floating islands access and Lisa's CO for free mines at the same time.

Free Field Mines in 45 minutes with Lisa. Lets do this.

Transforming Mech drops on me, but can't move around on the bridges so it's pretty easy to kill.

Lisa is pretty much useless at this point as an NPC, so it's me vs Vardha and I have ~20 - 25 minutes left. I run around and try not to die killing all his guns and missiles, but it takes a while since it's just me. Get to him on top and take out his turrets, and start working on taking his arms. I get the first arm probably around 35 minutes in. Get the 2nd arm maybe around 40 minutes in. Time is ticking down. I take out his chest cannon at about 43 minutes. His last missile launchers go down shortly after.

I'm at 44 minutes. All his weapons are down, and his core is exposed. I unload Cracker Shot after Cracker Shot into his core.

30 seconds left... still not dead.
20 seconds... still not dead.
10 seconds... still not dead.
5...
4...
3...
2...
Dead.

At 44:59 I see him die and I hear the sound of a client order getting completed. I know the Lisa CO is complete as she was just running around being useless the whole time. I didn't get off him in time so I got blown sky high, but didn't die (luckily). So I check the list...

Was working on clearing the fifth matter board the other day and was doing the Vol Dragon bit in hard mode when a change-over code duel dragon pops up and despite going underground two or three times, it never powered up or anything. This made the fight pretty easy and it dropped an unteched Vol Scale. Good Stuff. The boss Vol Dragon dropped a Vol Tail too. I can't equip either but getting some new rares is always nice.

Since none of the hard dragons dropped the unit needed for the matter board entry, I tried out the normal caves instead yesterday. The matter board entry didn't differentiate between the two. Low-and-behold, the second normal dragon I see drops the matter board unit and I finish up matter board 5 at 100%.

I also joined a team. I don't really think it's too much of an accomplishment though because it's small (11~13 members) and is called something you'd expect a Japanese junior/senior highschool student to think up. Oh well. I'll see how long it lasts.

Ran Kyatadransa after maintenance a dozen times or so with a nice group of people, and picked up 2 unID Ridul Tibs, a Fire Arms with an element, and an unID Raizenoc. x_X Think I used up all my luck until level 60...

currently these units for hunter are the best, plus to be honest that better suits a weapon not an armor, your going to want to have defence trust me, I have 1.2k with drink now and I can tank like a boss now. Sure go for all attack but leave yourself defenceless and all that power is kinda wasted when your always dead

and 244 S-Def is nothing to laugh at :)

To add to this, we can kill everything much faster than if we expected to get hit constantly. Getting hit in this game generally flinches you pretty bad or just clear knocks you off your feet. When we have dodge and block actions to combat this, why waste so much time dealing with how we can cope with getting hit rather than just circumventing the issue and focusing on how we can kill what's attacking us the fastest? Just my take on that is all.

well currently 1k S-Atk and 1.2k S-def gives me both playstyles i guess. I still output a ton of damage and only take 1 damage from mobs. I also play keyboard and mouse and just guard is very hard I find to pull off. regardless I was just showing off a kick ass unit that is all.

yeah i'm using keyboard too , it's harder to block with keyboard , because i rarely use my pinky finger so in some critical moment my finger wont press shift ontime. right now im still practicing and adjusting to new bosses

It is really tough to say how

compares. Especially since this is for a force.

1 on my ship (2) is only one 5 five slot armor 8 or 9 star with soul + mutation and 3 aptitude I saw... and make technique III on it is not impossible but very very very very hard......
