(UPDATE)

PSO2 must love me. Because I get the most beautiful graphical errors. I really do feel like I'm in a .hack//world!

I somehow read that backwards as ELLOL.

I think you have bad or missing textures based off of that blunt way of telling it the game does.

reminds me of the purple land in oblivion.

Forgot to mention that it fixed itself when I rezoned.

Graphical glitches like this happen to me sometimes in other games, too.

Like in Vindictus, where all the trees were replaced with transparency checkerboards.

Lobby sure got a nice new paintjob.

Oh...wait.

Yeah, that's not normal, but I actually kinda like how it looks, to be honest.

wow, only way i know how to do that on purpose, is if you take the contents of your c:\program files (x86)\Sega\phantasystaronline2\pso2_bin\ and zip it up and upload it for me to download so i can takes me awesome pics!!!+^_^+
Seriously though? you need to completely uninstall and reinstall, rebooting after each and making sure your patched before playing, also do the same for your video drivers and dx11+^_^+

.hack's basically what got me addicted to MMOs (despite it not being an actual MMO, haha (well, .hack/Fragment technically was, but never got to play it ._.)

PSO2's the closest I've ever been to it, and seeing this makes me want to experience the glitch too. Might end up being caught up in a virtual life and death battle for the fate of the internet and the world.

Oh yes.

TC those graphical errors are a tell tale sign that one of several things is happening

A. Your graphics card is overheating under the stress and thus is becoming unstable (thus you need to turn down the settings because your card can't handle your current settings and maintain stability)

B. you overclocked your video card and its an unstable overclock

C. you overclocked your cpu and its an unstable overclock

I would turn down the shadows in the in game settings to medium, and the reflections to the lowest setting (you wont miss that one anyway its not noticeable) and see how things run then. If you still get this graphical error constantly you may not have enough video ram for the best textures setting and probably have to run it on the medium texture settings.

I think you may have just saved my ass.

I knew I overclocked my video card a little, so I went to check the settings. It's been fine running much more demanding games for much longer periods of time, but I thought I'd check it out anyway. And then, I couldn't even find my Catalyst Control Center, and Windows said I didn't even have any drivers installed at all.

So, thank you for possibly saving my gpu from overheating.

I can see why some people think it looks cool, but personally, if that happened to me, I'm pretty sure I'd be in pants-wetting fear. EVERYTHING BEING BRIGHT BLOODY RED is something I find totally nightmarish.

It's definitely something to look at. Hope those textures have been fixed, though.
