So, Talis type weapons get attack power from both Magic and Ranged. Does this only effect the physical attack or spells as well? Does this weapon type warrant a Magic/Ranged MAG build? And are the attack stat gains an even split, do we have any formula's yet?

1) I'm very sure it only effects physical attacks with them.
2) I doubt it. Since they don't even have their own T-ATK and R-ATK stats, relying on their normal attacks for anything other than setting up the cards and recovering PP wouldn't ammount to much damage wise even with a high level mag. I wouldn't bother getting a ranged hybrid JUST for a talis.
3) Not that I know of.

The normal attack of a tali is dependant on its T-ATK.
So no, it doesn't warrant a Magic/Ranged MAG build.
