Oh, I don't doubt we'll eventually get all the outfits. ^_^ It's just that Shion and Matoi were stated to be custom made models, while all the other NPCs are made using the Character Creator - it's more work for Sega to have to port over their outfits given this case imo.

Outfits I really want to see in PSO 2? I'd like to see outfits from the classic Sega RPGs - all the Shining series games, Phantasy Star I- IV, etc etc. Sega's always had a wonderful portfolio of character designs and I'd really like to see more of that updated, than just the more recent ones.

Luna Prophecy (the most heavily armoured stripper) and Guardians Formal (Grand Admiral ball gown) were my favourite costumes in PSU. In fact, seeing the Guardians Formal animated as fabric rather than pants would be fantastic.

A scientist lab coat would be nice, for both genders, safety goggles optional (they do nothing).

Robes, mage robes, Jedi robes, bathrobes, any kind of robes. I like robes. Both genders.

Costumes with long coats and/or capes incorporated into them, both genders.

And more thigh boots and dominatrix gloves. And spiked collars, belts and boots. For when I really feel like kicking the shit out of enemies, rather than just fighting.

It's extremes of both sides of the immersion argument going back and forth that's really irritating, because there seems to be a lot of "takin' it personally" either side you pick.

I don't really see why it's wrong for someone to say that they'd prefer something to not ruin their immersion, and if they're doing so in a manner that's not really backhanding the other side of the argument, they should be fine. On the flip side, I don't feel that others who are against the "immersion" argument should be trying to make others out as prudes or whatever simply because they've stated their opinion.

Because some people who have been purportedly "for" immersion have been rather obnoxious, so it wears on the nerves a bit.

But really, let's face it - those complaints are completely unnecessary when the game already gives players the ability to create total monstrosities with the character creator alone. If that in and of itself is not enough to break someone's immersion, well, they clearly have very different ideas of what constitutes "immersion" than myself!

Agree 100%, otherwise I would like to see the default RAmarl cloths (Guardwing) with flat combat boots instead on the combat heals. That is all I can think of at the moment.

I'd like to see more simple outfits on the whole. The less frills and buckles the better. Units are extravagant enough as it is. And yeah, as others mentioned, outfits that look like they actually protect the wearer. Stuff an actual sci-fi warrior might wear.

That said, I'd love love love a cape. It might be tricky to get right physics engine wise though.

I miss outfits with really noticeable Line Armor. I know a lot of players would take off their armors in lobbies because they couldn't stand it, but something about it really seemed awesome to me. I wish it would make a more pronounced return.

I'd like my asymmetrical armors in general as well. Something less uniform and more improv'd.

Also, the current CAST parts are a vast improvement over the defaults, so much so that I'm actually back to playing one, but I'd definitely like to see some of the more sleeker sets to appear. So long as we get matching head pieces to go with them, anyway.

Eh, anything from the Xenosaga or "xeno series" in general (Gears/E.Ss/etc) for my casts. Especially female along with their head styles. You can make them more "non human" and give them parts that look feminine which is why I say look at those games and the "female type gears/E.Ss. Personally, I hope there are no parts that make cast male look more humane. If I wanted that, I would of just been a human/newman male. Besides, casts have the benefit of wearing those special costumes such as the wedding outfits, yukatas, and so on so there is your "humane look."

Skanky Humans/Newmans? Lol, I don't care personally. All I need for my newman force is a swimsuit and shes done. If I ever wanted to make a human male, it would probably be some long trench coat or something from the matrix.

Heck, that would fit my newman female perfectly too. Then all Sega needs to do is add Twin Mechguns to the game with some impressive PAs and it would totally be worth it for me to actually make my Newman or Human a ranger despite the racial stat differences. They should look at games like Rusty Hearts for examples on PAs for Twin Mechguns and if it would be possible to implement such things for their game.

But nah, they won't add that clothing.....at least for females. Didn't really do it in PSU, doubt they'd do it here. Especially since I can't mix and match stuff like in PSU. But hey, I can dream.

Costumes from Skies of Arcadia, specially Fina and Gilder. Fina could be easily cosplayed with her costume, her veil and her earrings as accesory plus a Cupil mag and her hair. Gilder would need his glasses, hair and his parrot as an accesory (maybe his cigarette, hehehe).

Talking about earrings, earring accesories could be nice too.

It's true that there could be more revealing armors for men, dunno.... completely protected arms and legs with transparent parts in the body to see those six pack abs, or space barbarian outfit.

Basically, what I'm saying here is I want anything that shows off the entirety of the bloody abdomen! The Segmentata is always nice. I haven't taken my caseal out of it in Infinity since they released that. I hope there's going to be another design contest for PSO2 like they did before. They'd probably stick everything in the scratch though so it'd be pretty "meh" though.

Well, at the moment... I'd say I'm looking forward to the Arks costume for my Caseal. It would be nice to have a formal/military attire for her. Plus, I'd have a reason to wear a silly hat, I guess, lol. As for other stuff, eh... I'm not really sure. I haven't thought about it much, but I guess it would just be stereotypical stuff, really.

Maid outfit, schoolgirl uniform, nurse outfit, anime/manga collaboration outfits, etc.

I guess it would be pretty cool if they had some kind of collaboration with Virtual-On to give us more mech-like parts for our girls though. I find that the guys look awfully bulky, whereas the girls don't have many parts like that (Furie set is good for this, but maybe a little bigger). If anything, they should have given each race a race-specific skill and CASTs should have been given a bar to build up to switch between mecha and humanoid mode or something.

Ah, well... maybe for another day, I suppose, lol.
