Ok, well so far I'm having immense fun with this game keeping it running okay with 60FPS. My only issue with this PC is that my Processor REALLY sucks and I'm having massive slowdown in areas like Desert where there is fog floating around everywhere on certain Maps.

I currently basically have everything on low but have the Game Detail set to 5 with lowest shaders on and AA enabled in the .txt file.

Can anyone shed any light on here at all for helping me completely remove or drastically reducing how much pressure they are putting on my Processor?

Thanks!

Nothing you can do about the sandstorms.

I'm guessing there's more fog-like stuff to come in Mines and the Tundra? :(

Tundra? Nope. Mines? As bad as Desert.

what about the blizzard in the tundra? I guess it not THAT bad... its about as bad as the thunderstorm in forest I suppose.

Yea, I'll see I guess. It just sucks that I get super slowdown when anything like that blasts across my screen. It's like the Fog back when PSO:GC was out with Seabed and used to have super slowdown.

check on bumped.org and there's a place under the guide lists that shows you how to edit your options out of game, in a user.ini file if I remember right, editing those options will greatly increase your performance at the cost of visual effects but after doing that those sandstorms will not affect your speed what so ever.

Yea I mentioned that I've been using those and I've edited the options in the file, they look like this:

Not sure there's anything I can change to get rid of the fog and stuff though, looking bleak! :<

I have the same problem although it's not my processor but rather a shitty onboard laptop GPU. The sandstorms in Desert give me hell, but even worse is an Emergency Code: Destruction, for some reason that giant red lightning ball causes MASSIVE graphical lag. Other than those two situations I can tolerate the lag, even with 11 other people on the screen spamming AOEs it isn't bad enough to prevent me from spamming mine as well.

This is on a setting of "2" though with shaders off. I tried it for a while on setting "1" but I felt like I was playing on N64 or something, the lobby looked absolutely horrible
