Nothing currently, in the future, most likely similiar to previous game, they can be used to trade in items or for drawing/gacha.

I have a feeling that having a large number of Photon Drops won't really be as useful as you might think.

Considering there's also a secondary and tertiary form of the Photon Drops.
Photon Crystal and Photon Sphere I think.

I'd imagine that they'll be used to upgrade to the corresponding secondary and tertiary forms, which are later used to get better prizes.

I bet the shards are gonna be worth next to zilch :c

Maybe alternate versions of certain attire? Or... Or maybe stuff like you could get after trading drops for crystals like in PSU...!

I have over 900 photon shards and 10-11 spheres lol, seems like the spheres come from the drilling codes though.
