Putting 2 affixs of ur choice on a weapon

How do I do this? My main problem is keeping one of the original affix n changing the other.

Souls are a special situation, since you need 2 weapons that have the same soul as materials for the transfer, equipment can't have 2 souls on it. ^^;

Can I put burn and poison on the same weapon?

No two souls can be on the same weapon/unit.
No two status effects can be on the same weapon/unit.
