Whats up with this lvl 999 mag?

I've seen countless mags being lvl 999 ppl just giving them away, some one gave my new character one, it was Madhu i just sold it in the shop for 900 mesta. i didnt want to be a lvl 31 walking around with stats of a lvl 100 thats maxed on materia, that just ruins the hole game for me. anyway where did they come from is there a new thing, that alows ppl to alter items now? i sure hope not the game is bad enough as it is...

You have what's called an edited mag. I don't know how it's done, but there are mag "editors" that allow you to change their stats into whatever you want.

Boy....Having a mag at level 999 is almost as bad as the guys who cheat up to Lvl 100. And how would you go about using a mod or editor in the game? It just sounds odd that one could be used on the DC system, but ohh well.
