Those are pink, not purple.

Purple items are armor units (arms, back, and legs).

The purple items in the very last tab (looks like a money bag). Also I have numerous yellow items. Enemy scalps? I also have a few red boxes. I assume they are rares? I heard that I have to redeem them?

Purple items on the ground or in your inventory? Purple items on the ground are unit/armor pieces. Furniture items have a pink box if I remember correctly.

Unless you're talking about within your inventory, then in which case those are where your grinders/synths items go.
