I'm thinking about starting a new ranger class and im wondering what the most proficient ranger race is(if there is one). Is there a race that gets the most stat boost for R-attack? I was thinking male cast, but then I realised that human/newman have some nice buffs/weakshot that can push more DPS. What do you guys suggest?

Lolibot.

There's not much of a difference between races and genders, but lolibot takes it marginally.

RAcaseal is the best Ranger in the game.

I see, i'm assuming she cant use buffs/debuffs other than weakshot correct? And if not how does her capped r-attack stand out end game, is it enough to top ranger newman/humar?

All Rangers have access to weak bullet, bind bullet, panic shot, jellen shot, and traps
Race does not matter. Only Forces get Shifta etc.

Stats for each race/class at level 40. Raw R-Atk of Droid girl is 378, lowest R-atk for a lv40 Ranger is 367 for a Newman. 11 points. That's less than 3%, no matter which way you slice it.

All Rangers get access to the same skills via tree, of course. In future, with sub-classes, all Rangers will be on even footing regarding available sub-classes; depending on how these work people may be choosing Force if they get Shifta (likely), or Hunter if they get Rage stance (much less likely). Both of these are also 0% dependant on race.

The level cap is so low, and the endgame equipment requirements so high, that 11 points MAY make a difference. Probably not in the long run, though, even as the gap widens. If it stays at 3% though...

The R-atk difference is actually the most irrelevant.

The most important difference for RAs is the R-def. Newm and Caseal do not have to invest anything into R-def to equip the Calvaria set(http://pso2wikimiller.com/gazou/bougu/ria/unit01.pnghttp://pso2wikimiller.com/gazou/bougu/arm/unit02.pnghttp://wikiwiki.asia/pso2/index.php?plugin=ref&page=%CB%C9%B6%F1%2F%A5%EC%A5%C3%A5%B0&src=unit03.png). Other classes must invest 14 points of R-def via. "R-def Up" skill or MAG levels to equip it. The difference is even more prominent if you desire to equip the Vol set(Newm+Caseal must get 29 points of R-def, others must get 47).

In short, it means that newm and caseal have a lot more flexibility with RA builds.

PS: RAcaseal is godlike

Should you also factor the HP and DEX differences, then the points really start to add up to something significant.
