I think we need to move to... Block 40?

With all the label changing SEGA has been making, Block 20 clearly isn't very fit to be the shoe in English block. Something like Block 40/41/42 would be more reasonable, as they likely will never be stuck with a label. If they have in the past, perhaps something like 35 would be good.

People who don't even read these forums know Block 20 as the English block, you just won't be able to inform everyone of a change anymore. All that'll happen is the PSOW people will meet in b40 and the others will be left thinking the population is declining.

If anything you should be pushing for the bottom block (discounting premium blocks). As the block count increases and the block titles change, the bottom block will always be the bottom block.

All trolling and jokes aside, I think we should infact establish a new block.

I mean, yes everyone knows that block 20 is the english block, but what about peek times? Block 20 will be packed with japanese. Also, when people go to block 20 and see a bunch of JP players they arent going to feel "welcomed" anymore.

Block 20 was a third world yes but it was "home" for many good english/spanish players.

I think if we here at psow establish a new block everyone will eventually follow. Yes not EVERYONE comes here or reads the forums but they will soon realize that we have moved already.

As for wight now block 20 is a mixture of JP and english players.

-sneaks into block 35- i dont see us changeing. On occasions we branch off into our own little groups on other blocks but theres no way wed all just table jump after wev been eating lunch at that table for the beginning of the year.

I say that PSO-World makes an attempt to move to Block 40 when the update comes as a little "experiment". Maybe overtime, the whole English community will move. Let's face it; Block 20 is really meant to be used for farming Mines.

Maybe; except that I think the bottom blocks had labels of their own, so I'm not sure what would be the best option then.

20'd been meant to be for a specific level range previously and we all just hung out there anyway :-P A decent number of international players rove around to the other block as it stands anyway so an attempt at getting out of the JP players way isn't a bad idea, seems not likely to fully succeed imo though.

I don't actually think there will be that many blocks (if we really have that much content I figure they'll merge areas into certain blocks based on level again), but why repeat the mistakes that led to the current problem, right?

The bottom blocks are pretty much always empty., and as they fill up we go bottom up. If 40 is full, hit 39, if 39 is full hit 38. If it does expand by, I don't know, let's say 30 more blocks, and 40 is the new area (Ruins Ultimate maybe, I don't know), then the bottom blocks will still probably be fluff and we just go to the new bottom block.
