From the pictures, both graphic quality get tune down quite a lot.

Hmm, I understand that they need to nerf graphic a lot on the android version. But I think PS-vita should be able to handle the current PC graphic just as fine tho. (except small screen = only need smaller resolution window.)

Kind of off topic, but what is the rest of their lineup?

22nd and 23rd, eh? Looks like I'll be skipping this year's.

Despite looking leaps and bound better than Infinity, I doubt the Vita could handle the game with everything turned up like a PC could. The Vita interface looks pretty decent though and I imagine works to the best they could manage on the portable. I have no idea how the Android/iOS versions are going to play but I imagine it'll be something along the lines of what Infinity Blade does, at least for hunters.

Vita could handle the port from many HD game and show how it look totally like PS3 in small screen. So I m pretty sure there gonna be a way, but SEGA probably just not know how to work on that.

Pretty light actually. In house titles are: Yakuza 5, Yakuza 1 & 2 HD Collection, and PSO2.
Partner titles ares are Fifa 13, Medal of Honor, and Need for Speed.

They don't look exactly like a PS3's graphics. I have one and a decent number of games for it. For a handheld, it looks good, great even. But it's still far off from looking like what a PS3 or a PC could do.

It doesn't look significantly lower quality than the PC version. Not to mention that the screens are blown up/bigger than they would be on a Vita. Though I don't think the Vita could handle max PC settings.

Really wish it would be cross platform play with PC version...I'd bet my phone/many current-gen tablets could play the game with better graphical quality than the laptop I'm using now (lowest settings for everything, including resolution).

here look at this video, it is Metal gear solid 4 from Vita. and it has much better graphic than the screen shot above. (actually it has even better graphic than current PSO2 on PC as small screen) So if other company could manage it anyway, then it is SEGA own problem that they can't do the same. I think if they try harder, they can retain the same graphic quality to what they have in PC now. Because even in PC version. we know that the graphic quality here is much lower compare to other game. Those ground, those grass, those flower... so they don't really need to nerf it further.

You're still overestimating the graphical abilities of the Vita. Check out other videos of actual game play and come back down to earth.

No, that screenshot is actually resized down. Vita's native resolution is 960x544 (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v255/asamidori/2012-06-30-183934.jpg).

But yeah, thinking Vita can run PSO2 at setting 5 is kinda overestimating it.

mistook the ios image for the vita and went ewwwwww-oh.

graphics could use some work, but if there isn't some sort of crossplay, both versions are a little pointless.

I'd still play it. Tone down so it runs well with all those people + monsters + the potential multi boss battles + Bursts.

vita is supposed to be on the same servers as the PC so you can all play together, but I don't think there has been any word yet on if they got that to work or not.

I feel like the smartphone version was dumbed down for android in terms of graphics :/ Not that androids cant handle better graphics, but there's so many different variations of androids that they have to accommodate to the fact that a lot of people might not have a high-end android.

Everyone should go out and buy a Nexus, Samsung Galaxy S3, or HTC One X! <3 Android <3 Samsung

But yeah, Samsung's strategy to release like 20 different Galaxy phones a year to saturate the market is kinda ^^;

It looks ok, it probably will look better on the vita's small oled screen. But I still don't see the point, unless it has local multiplayer option, that made games like MoHun big on the PSP and 3DS in jspan. I mean if you need to use wifi, since the 3G option on the vita is limited, you might as well play the PC version.

Wonder how big it's going to be for my Vita. Probably need to buy a new memory card first.

The optimal set up on Vita is to buy a physical copy of the game and then have a blank memory card set aside for updates.
