Not that long ago I made a similar thread asking for the very same thing but for an nvidia card. Long story short my Nvidia card (a GTX 460) does not work anymore so a friend of mine gaved me a amd Radeon HD5850 however just like with the nvidia card forcing AA through the Catalyst control panel does nothing.

I was able to force AA using Nvidia inspector on the Nvida card, thanks to everyone who told me to download it and showed me how to use it.

Is there a similar program that can allow me to do this but on a Radeon card insted?

Ah, memories...

I remember back then, Arika was like "I can't tell the difference!"

I'm REALLY not trying to be a prick here especially since i'm looking for some legit help, but it would go a VERY long way if you guys could actually pay attention to what I actually wrote.

Nhancer will not work on amd/ati radeon cards.

As the title says, i'm looking for a solution for an AMD Radeon card NOT a Nvidia card. I have a feeling I wont find a solution very soon though as most people use Nvidia cards and not amd radeon cards.

That said any helpful tips to my question are appreciated.

Anti Aliasing?
I tho that exists in the option menu
go to the option 4->1 (描画設定 -> 描画機能) it's the second lowest option (アンチアリアシング)

aside from the main topic
I'm interested in forcing SSAO with radeon cards

Aeris tried to help and then realised he was referring to my thread about using nhancer for nvidia cards, he even edited his post saying such...

If that's the attitude you're gonna have against someone that just tried to help, you're not gonna get a a proper answer.

Yes... PSO2 already has an AA option, and it tends to work a lot better than forcing AA through another program or your gpu control panel(from my experience).

Gaved those two programs a shot and nothing. Ty for posting them though ^^

I am well aware of the crappy built in AA option that PSO2 has. I don't like it though. It's doesn't do a very good job at what it's supposed to do. I guess for the avarage joe that's enough but not for me.

But it looks like that's probably my only way for now.

Lol I'm no average joe when it comes to PC visuals and making everything look perfect. I usually sit there and mod/tweak around for hours until it's just right, but PSO2's AA just doesn't look all that great no matter what you do.

I've forced it, and it looked a little worse than the vanilla PSO2 option for AA... so I don't think there's much getting around it.

hmm, Sizustar had an AA thread awile back, maybe you could get some help there?? +^_^+ http://www.pso-world.com/forums/showthread.php?t=196904&highlight=FXAA
also this post Sizu mentions an SMAA version http://www.pso-world.com/forums/showthread.php?p=2783048#post2783048 hope this helps your research+^_^+

NOTE: the injectors worked i think using the same holes in GG that hex editors used by the haxors used to modify the frame data before it hit the buffer, at least the SMAA one, FXAA is post processing so i don't know+^_^+ so it may or may not be eventually patched inadvertently+^_^+
