That means your firewall is blocking it. Quote me and grab the link directly from it and try?

Edit: Actually its not showing for me anymore either... weird, it did when I first made the post. But grabbing the link directly from a quote should work.

Edit Edit: Fixed the link, it should work now. :)

Yes. Doodoo is the game's best NPC

Unless you have a specific character or outfit in mind, the best you can do is download the character creator (http://pso2.jp/benchmark/download/) and just look at the 3D data from there.

If your outfit is not shiny enough, a rappy will be disappointed.

[PSO2] Doodoo's grinding service - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZN8DS5jkSK8)

That's him xD But it wasn't meant seriously... if you cosplay as him, people are probably only gonna hurt you :/

Well, you don't have the extra accessories, hairstyles and clothes as long as you haven't obtained them in-game, but you still have a lot of options at your disposal.

You can make good or bad characters with that creator. It's the same one that comes with the game client (minus the framerate cap).

You're probably looking for the male flesh outfits, but let me know if you want any others.

I can't find concept art for male newman hunter, so this is the closest I can get you.

I got my images from here (http://pso2-project.net/category/conceptart/page-1) and here (http://pso2blog.wordpress.com/concept-art-gallery/#), if you need more. I don't know much about male fleshies, so I don't know if I got them all. Keep in mind that these looks aren't final. Outfits can be worn by just about anyone, and accessories can be mixed and matched. Colors, too, are flexible. If you want to know more about an outfit, I can probably find other colors.
As payment for showing you these pictures, I demand a picture of your final project.

I need to ask. Why do a PSO2 cosplay, if you don't know enough about the game to find outfits yourself? Why not do something which you know inside and out?

Try the NPC hans, josef, zieg, or jean

I've cosplayed series just because I loved the designs!

But yeah grab the character creation demo, it's on pso2chara.jp under the benchmark. It's definitely your best bet since you can rotate and zoom at will.

well i wanted to do pso2 cause i touched the game for a sec. but i really am hyped for the american release. Ive played all the others but the designs for 2 look so epic so i wanted a little advice.

Zorafim
Sep 4, 2012, 02:29 PM
The english release is probably going to be much worse than the japanese release. With all the guides and such out there, after a while, you start forgetting that the game's in japanese in the first place. If you want to play, you should do it!

Meta77

I want to so bad but is it hard to get into with it in jap and i heard the us players where blocked recently

Zorafim
Sep 4, 2012, 02:43 PM
Those that were blocked were either hackers, spammers posting inappropriate things (nudity and sexual acts via symbol chat, mostly), or innocent players that were victims of incriminating acts from hackers (mainly being moved so they look like hackers). I've seen very few posters on this forum complain about being banned, so I wouldn't worry about that.

And yet it's pretty much true.

Essentially, like most other free-to-play games, they offer you many additional options which you can pay for. Whether they be extra costumes, a customizable room, the ability to run a player shop, an extra mag or extra skill tree... all these little luxuries which are not required to play the game, but are useful, cost money.

Some of these things, furthermore, cannot be purchased directly with real money, but only by the AC Scratch, which is essentially like buying a scratch-off lottery ticket which will give you some prize but not necessarily the one you want. You can then trade and resell the items for meseta (so it's possible to get the extra costumes without paying real money, but they will cost you LOTS of meseta). Of course, some of the things you get from the AC Scratch aren't worth much, so it's a gamble. Mostly, people buy the AC Scratch looking for costumes.

I think a PSO2 cosplay would be pretty spiffy. Even if people don't know the game as long as the costume is awesome people will always like it. Just a question Meta77, how much confidence/experience do you have in cosplay?

IMO, Phantasy Star Anything would do well. It's a beloved series that people often don't get around to cosplaying as. It's a heck of an easier way to get noticed than being yet another Naruto/Bleach Shonen Jump-esque character.
