There is another way to change the color of hair / skin color, height, etc., without AC?

Nope.

AC is the only way to meddle with those options as far as I'm concerned.

You can change eye color for free.

There are sometimes exceptions to "rules"

I spent AC to buy an extra mag (500 AC)

I got 5 1-day premium tickets that I could use to change my character/sell items/enter myRoom/etc

Only activated 1 so far... put 8 mil worth of items in the shop, edited my character, and grabbed the items out of myRoom so I could put them in the team room if that becomes an option... though that will probably require myRoom access ... which kinda defeats the purpose now that I think about it
