I know of the Alt+~, but it originally was working fine for me.
Now, I don't know if I somehow messed it up, but the text isn't working right anymore and many buttons are showing duplicated.

Plus, I was able to mix english with japanese, which I can't anymore with it.
Did I mess up somewhere?
If so, how do I fix it?

I just use windows IME to switch between english/japanese

Enabling this gives you a little button you can toggle between languages on your quickbar.

all i can say is check the settings shown in this video, this is the only way i know how, unless you don't mind ALT+TAB a lot for lexilogos online keyboard (http://www.lexilogos.com/keyboard/hiragana.htm)

I've got that actually. Don't think it helps me though. Unless something's not right.

That's... very tedious though. Especially if I have to type in battle or a boss where I don't have much time to switch between windows like that.

It tends to remember what you set in on for each program. For instance if you switch it to Japanese, and then alt tab it will be back on English. Or if you set it to Japanese before you even start entering text, once you start entering it, it will set back to English when you hit enter to start entering text. Make sure you hit enter and have the blinking bar in whatever window indicating you're typing before switching to Japanese.

Thank you so very much.
I actually found the problem with what you suggest and got it back to how it was set up originally!

I should play around with it a bit more as I can maybe set it up to my liking a bit more.

Thank you.

sure thing+^_^+ once you have it set up, begin typing to have the blinker, then you can use ^ above method to switch between half-width alphanumeric and hiragana+^_^+

Keyboard shortcuts

ALT-~ (tilde): Cycles between kana and direct input mode

ALT-SHIFT: Cycles through available languages

ALT-CAPS_LOCK: Switches to katakana input mode

CTRL-CAPS_LOCK: Switches to hiragana input mode

SHIFT-ALT: Switches between English mode and Japanese mode.

Control - ~: Switches between the current input mode and the English mode within the Japanese IME.

TIP: Switching between Hiragana input mode and Direct Input mode through the language bar is tedious. Instead you can switch by pressing Alt-Tilde (the key below ESC on your keyboard). So, if you need to type Japanese, press Alt-Tilde and start typing. When you are done press Alt-Tilde again to switch back to English. To achieve the same result when in Japanese mode, press Control - ~.
