This woman received so much backlash for her campaign to make videos talking about women in video games. She was harassed for her gender, her race, her wiki was changed to have lewd pictures, and for what? Because she wanted to analyze your precious manspaces?

Just as an example, here's just a few posts rounded up showing just that. Attacks towards female posters or about misogynistic ideas about women in video games or in general. PSO-W is an offender for sure.

I'm sure this thread will be locked because the moderators agree with the posts below.

Attack by a moderator towards a female poster for asking where the moderators are in a racist and sexist topic:

Don't you mean "Why is the WORLD misogynist?"

It's not just the gamer scene by a long shot.

Don't you mean "Why is the WORLD misogynist?"

It's not just the gamer scene by a long shot.

The "world" is a hateful place in general. No one, singular group is picked on more than any other in the grand scheme and global scale. Bigotry and unnecessary hatred runs heavily on gender and race-based platforms, yes, but hate is wide-spread on an individual level, based on the smallest, most insignificant things, such as childhood upbringing, freckles, hair color, voice pitch, you fuckin' name it. Humanity needs to shape up in more ways than just this.

However, I must ask why I wasn't shown in the opening post here. I'm genuinely surprised. I thought I was crowned The Lord of the Woman-Haters by you and your obnoxious friends, Sugie-pie?

Seriously, haven't we had enough of these threads? Does this not count as talking about locked threads? Men are assholes(some of them) women ask for attention(some of them) get the fuck over it.

Ugh.

Starting a thread with a big list of month old quotes and an attack on the mods is probably not the best way to start a discussion :/

You could just not click on the thread. The title makes it pretty obvious what it will contain :???:

I'd eat popcorn and watch too, but I've already seen this episode 20 times...

Look, girl, I agree with the point you're trying to make here (the net is full of haters and the world in general is still patriarchal, I agree with that) but I can't say I agree with your methods here. I know that in posting some of those snippets you're violating the trust and privacy of at least one person (who happens to be very close to me) and outright attacking moderation, on any forum for any reason, is not a good way to get a message across. Let's not stoop to the level of your subject here.

For your own integrity and for the privacy of others, I think you should edit your OP. Again, I DO agree with you and I respect you for speaking out, I always have with you, but this isn't the way to do it.

This thread is locked because you can't make a rant by calling every person's name out.
