If your a Hunter/Fighter or Fighter/Hunter does that enable you to use both classes weapons?

If you use Hunter/Fighter, you're limited to Hunter weapons and vice versa. If you have a weapon like Soul Eater and use it as a Fighter/Hunter you're able to use PA's for it.

Universal weapons are a bit weaker than some of the other 7 star+ weapons, but they allow you to use them regardless of class type.

While that's true for most universal weapons from before the subclasses updates (with the exception of the talis Duel Gaze), that's not true for most if not all of the universal weapons that were added in the subclasses update, these are quite strong.

For example:
Strongest wired lance from before the subclasses update, 9* Jagriath (ジャグリアス) with 267 S-ATK.
Wired lance that can be used by all classes, it was introduced in the subclasses update, 8* Lambda Hyperion (ラムダハイペリオン) with 359 S-ATK.
