Well I was playing at lvl 78 (78! so close to ultimate!)And I figured after bieng corrupted for the second time Eagles about had it. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif .All I know is that corruption is the one thing worse than duping.I started a new character named Revenge (Not because of corruption ...you should just see how he looks)and fortunatly Eagle left him all his belongings and hes doing well but I still miss Eagle.

well i'm currently level 68 and I've finished Ep1 & Ep2 offline on hard. so far I've gotten 78 hours out of the game. and I'm looking to get at least a few hundred more http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif.. but if my character corrupts and I have to start over I wont hestitate to shelve the game and play something else.

I'm not sure if this method works, but I saw raltga01 post this on the tech forums:

"This has been posted on this and other message boards before, but it seems that people are still being corrupted and loosing their characters. So I'm posting this method which worked for me on how to reclaim your corrupted characters.

What you'll need:
Gamecube [obviously]
PSO [obviously]
Corrupted Memory Card
Second Un-Corrupted Memory Card

How to do it:
1 - with the corrupted memory card in slot 2 and an uncorrupted memory card in slot 1, start up your gamecube.
2 - when the main menu comes up select ONLNE GAME
3 - select any character*
4 - confirm selection
5 - take out both memory cards and place the corrupted memory card in slot 1 and the uncorrupted in slot 2
6 - press the 'B' button to go back to the character select screen.
7 - voila! all your corrupted data remains!
8 - go online and then quit game.

After you go online and quit you should never get the "This memory card is corrupted blah blah blah" screen again. If you don't go online, you can do the same thing offline, but you'll have to swap each time I think. Of course this method requires a second memory card, but you can do it with your friends, or just go out and buy one, they're only like 10 bucks now.

*You may need to have the same number of characters on each card - so if your uncorrupted card has 3 and your corrupted card has 4 make a new one in the empty slot. If vise versa, you can still make a new character on your corrupted card by selecting OFFLINE GAME -> MULTI MODE -> and then using the temp slot, access the corrupted memory card and make a new character. You can also do this to get all your items off a corrupted character if you decide not to continue using that card / it's characters.

Remember - never delete your corrupted card - there is a way to get all that time back."

*shrugs* It's worth a shot at least. Also sorry if this is false info, I wouldn't know becuase I havn't tried.

i agree with RiGoRmOrTiS_UK. i have over 200 hours and if i got corupted i would probably just shelf it for a couple months or so.

(!!!)

Anyway, it took 3 corruptions and over 500 hours for me to give up playing the GameCube version. I'm an addict! I do hope, however, that I fare better on Xbox http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif
