Precede?

So I downloaded the update for PSO2 and found out there was a second thing to download. I downloaded it, which was a lot of files that took awhile, but was curious; What is this "Precede" that i downloaded for the game? And also what does it do?

As for answering your question, it's a pre patch downloader for the upcoming large patch for this months update. You can run the precede downloader during maintenance. It's faster than having the launcher download the updates.

You just pre-downloaded the December update. Now you won't have to download during maintenance.
