Interesting tidbits about PSO2 playerbase from this week's Famitsu interview with Producer Sakai and Director Kimura. Thanks as usual, g-heaven (http://t.co/JdICZjVU).
- Currently JP PSO2 has around 1150000 registered users with 300000 active (monthly) users. Guess it means those who login at least once a month
- Age of the most JP PSO2 players is between 26 and 35
- 70-80% of the users said that they have previous experience with the series

Lock if old.

Edit:
A summary of the interview has been posted on Polygon (http://www.polygon.com/2012/12/5/3730492/how-phantasy-star-online-2-plans-to-become-an-international-free-to).

gotta admit, still to this day, I do not understand why the devs implemented or thought it would be a good idea to drop your equip and meseta when you died.
to promote team work? realism? really no shitting idea. [/spoiler-box]
