I was looking through my Documents/SEGA folder and just now found out that the game archives all your chat logs as txt files. I still have ones from the very first day I started playing the game, way back in July. Oh god these bring back memories.
I don't wanna post any directly due to, y'know, respecting other people's snippets of conversation that also got caught in these. But it's very interesting, it's almost like I'm reliving the open beta days reading through these. Everyone was a bit more clueless and innocent back then, and it was still hot as hell, right smack in the middle of summer.
I know I've dug up some gems (some of the other people's wording has been changed, but mine is exactly the same):
Person: This party's getting crazy!
Luna Ralenz: I'm enough crazy for all four of us
Luna Ralenz: I just realized... WTF is with Sega and burrowing dragons?
(at a party member who was in the red for like a minute)
Luna Ralenz: For God's sake, heal yourself!
Person: Boss here
Luna Ralenz When you said "boss here" for some reason I thought PILLS HERE
It's so weird that I'm already waxing nostalgic about a game that's been out less than a year. Except not really. The grind to get to new areas was horrible back then, and I certainly don't want to go back to having no mechguns.
Anyone else ever look through their old chat logs?
