I get this error on PSO2 Launcher?

When I try to patch it does this.. it actually still patches everytime after and when I press the Launcher.. it doesn't launch at all.

was happening to me too not sure why but after like 15 tries and a restart it started working for me again

the error says the pso2updater process was cancelled

just set permission rights for yourself

To get past this on the last big update, I right clicked the pso2 directory and opened its properties. Then unchecked the Read Only box and applied it.

Oddly, after the update, the directory went back to Read Only. Not that I mind of course (I was gonna reinstate it anyways).
