Yo everyone,

are the servers still offline?
Cuz for me the status on all ships says "Unknown" and when I try to connect, it gives me an error.

The maintenance is still going on and it will be for a several more hours.

Maintenance.
An earlier announcement by sega noted from 2:00 - 17:00 japan time.

HOWEVER, the more recent announcement said 2:00 - 4: 00 . . . it's an hour past that now. Could be a mistake on their part.

Any good reason for the long maintenance?

That announcement was saying that AC purchase and data download services would be unavailable in the 2:00 - 4:00 period during the maintenance. No update on the state of the maintenance itself, so I assume it's still 2:00 - 17:00.

Fixes of their old screw ups, some new ones, IP ban, or any combination of those things. Standard stuff.

Does anyone know if Error 249 is due to the maintenance? I was trying to login earlier for the first time in a while and I assumed it was because I'd forgotten my Sega ID.

On that topic, does anyone know how to recover/find out your sega id? I checked in my emails to see if they mention it anywhere but im pretty sure they dont :(

Big part of it is all the server problems (well, Ship 02 to say the least). Lots of MyShop bots and DDoSers.
