Are they the best for FO class?(better than fang banther.?)

Is it a waste if I only use them for FO instead of any classes?
Base off ur answer, what 4 affix will u put on them?

[SPOILER-BOX]I just got the full set after pure farming, before I was keeping them for market pass, but then I just got the last piece of the set so I'm considering to keep them[/SPOILER-BOX]

Best on all classes (except Falz Units if you use any of the Elder weapons), since they give a plethora of PP which is useful on every class (especially on the melees).

Put Soul / Attack III / Boost on them. Very easy to do with 100% success rates, might cost like 5mil-7mil or so per unit unless the game decides to hate on you.

Can't go wrong with 154-157 PP (don't really recommend the HP souls, but if you want to use them, oh well).

The equip/set bonus is pretty nice for all the classes (50hp/25pp/40dex). I've just affixed mine for my main class combo (Fighter/hunter) but the sheer PP gain is valuable for every class, if your too lazy to get a specific armour set sorted. (I equip them on every one of my classes, even tho they have strike-attack souls on them)

From a melee point of view, I've found the hp souls much better then afew more pp - I only wish I stuck it out and went for the stamina boost affixes when I was first sorting them out heh.

I'd affix them with soul/attack 3/stamina boost if I had the meseta to do them all again, personally. Although that is from a melee point of view - forces might enjoy the extra pp over the hp more.

Thanks, was thinking of either either FO or all class cuz I already have a yellow fan set (each power 3, 2vol soul, 1quartz, cuz I made 2 b4 quartz came out)

So if I were to make it multi class, which affix should I add? Make it a pure+pp armor.?
If FO armor, ....... I put soul and pp, but no materials right now...

Multi class? I guess either defense or ability...if you can't go with any atk stats I'd pick ability honestly.

In some ways that actually works out better anyway. You can use rappy soul + spirita 3 + spirita boost, in theory. No idea on the prices for that, ha ha.

Unfortunately, Rappy Souls only drop 1 slot units. 2 slot units have to be made yourself, which means of course 3 slots is impossibly hard to get without a lol30% (at least, legitimately).

Would it be overkill to put Stigma, Stamina Boost, and Spirita III on all 3 units?

Stigma has an absurdly low transfer rate (30% with 2, 50% with 3 I believe) but if you got it to work...

I think for Force, Snow Set is the way to go... over Black Wing set, for the reason being: More S-DEF, and Force won't need PP over 120 since they will never essentially run out due to PP convert + Regen from TE subclassing.

I would use Ragne/Tech3/Stam3/Stam Boost for more HP. Having 800 HP and around 1050 S-DEF is quite nice, I'd say.

However, I could be wrong.

Elder set would probably be ideal though because of 400 Dex requirement + Elder Rod.

no I prefer snow set as well. I have mine with ragne soul tech III and stamina II and have close to 800 HP. being able to take a hit when I do mess up is nice and I really dont run out of PP even with 109. If you're looking for a good force set, that's really the way to go. Black wing a good general purpose set and is probably the better way to go if you're running FO/FI since they dont have the PP gain that FO/TE has.

If you're running FO/TE though, I'd definitely say snow over black wing.

I definitely need my 157 PP. Even as FO/TE (not that I ever play it).

The thing is though, you can't actually wear the Snow Set unless you spec into T-Def, which is kinda pointless to do JUST for that at this point since the 55 cap is coming up. Plus it's pointless anyway because more attack is always better.

As a female newman, I am 2 T-Def points off the Snow Set as 50/50 FO/TE. While I can wear the Snow Set with the 55 cap, I can also wear the Elder Set and the Elder Rod, which is far better anyway because of the massive attack increase. Defense and HP is nice and all, but I personally never recommend it over extra killing power (unless you're one of those people who think it's more fun to gimp yourself so you don't kill as fast).

uh...As a Fo/Tenewearl I have more than enough tdef and have had enough for a good while. You're playing Fo/Fi, clearly and if you WERE playing Fo/Te you obviously didn't spec for PP regen or you'd have way more than enough T def since PP convert requires 5 points in T def. On top of that the PP issue wouldn't exist for you. Snow set grants you a +45 to T atk as a set (which is another reason to go over wings).

I'm all for not gimping yourself but you're talking about trading ...what 75 T atk for 600 S def, and 120 HP. remember the only reason to play Fo/Te over Fo/Fi is PP regen. if you're not doing that you're just gimping yourself.

You also need 45 extra Dex to equip that unit set of yours at 50/50. that means a mag with 45 Dex or better. you could put most of those points into T atk instead which would close the gap of your set's atk boost even further. hell if you put all 45 of those points into T Atk you'd only be getting 30 T atk over Snow set (omgs totally worth the loss of 600 S Def, right?)

Anyway with my current setup I have over 1800 T atk and over 1000 S def and nearly 800 HP with little need ever to stop casting due to my PP regen abilities. I'd say I'm pretty far from gimped.

Honestly, unless you're doing a borderline-pure fire fo, 150+ PP isn't really necessary due to the amount of PP you recover when charging non-fire techs. Grants & Ragrants costs ~10 PP, gigrants costs ~15, zan and zondeel ~8, zonde ~3, etc. Only very rarely does a spawn survive past 100 PP for me.

It's certainly not as god tier useful as it is for fighter, anyway. I'd even argue it's better for hunter than a non-fire-specced fo. But if you're a fire fo, man, get that PP.

Good for newearls, I guess. Caseal (yeah...) FO/TE has a harder time equipping Snow set.

It's only because techer gives no t-def. :s
The banther set grants me a kitty tail. That is reason enough for me to wear it.

you're already "gimping" yourself by not playing a newearl though. casts can easily equip black wings, but lets face it if we're talking about "best" we're looking for an optimal build. Wings are a great multipurpose set, but that doesn't mean that they're the "best" force armor.

I'd say the black wings set benefit most from classes that use up a lot of PP or benefit greatly from having a higher threshold like FI/GU, FO/FI. There comes a point where more PP is just unnecessary.
