Basically what the test says is that the Red 7* weapons, instead of giving you bonus Dex like other rares, reduce your dex by 25.

Consider that normal rare gives 1/4 of your dex as a bonus, -25 instead of 1/4 of 300 should not be overlooked.

Some here said red weapons had rare weapon type dex.
Only thing that irks me is that they're not all-class...
That would've been so convenient.

They do? Because when I went out to test, my damage was consistent with the Gunslash.

I was feeling that something was off when I was doing around the same damage with the new twin mechs at 50 element compared to lambda radiegle (which was 24 wind) but since I have twin mech gear and zero range advance I didn't bother with testing around. Need to send a complaint that they do shitty damage, they should be on pair with the other 7* and not crippled, I went ahead and excubed my stuff to just grind that shit because I knew I could max out the element easily.

Did the Radigles have 50 element too? Cause the red mechs are only slightly less powerful then the Radigles.

lol, first thing I said when using Red Sword, was 'wow, the variance is huge'. I guess my first impression was on the dot.
I have dealt damage varying from 18k to 23k with the final hit of Over End, 47k to 65k with Weak Bullet applied, lol.
I have exactly 399 DEX, for information.
It's PSO EpI&II all over again!

With 466 dex, my red partisans damage range on melee attacks/speed rain (hush, I was testing) was ~15%. (~ 730 - 860 damage with melee swings)
With the same dex, my old device's damage range on melee attacks/speed rain was a 1% variant (+/- 15 damage on swings of 1k).
Before I got the old device, I put it down to the mobs I was fighting (lv58-60 AQ mobs) having huge dex stats, but I guess it was both

They are much better than all the 6*s but are a bit inferior to the current 578 weapon group.

Are they inferior to the 6*s?They are inferior to some 7~9* weapons, but still much better than what a lot of people had before them, lol. They can easily drop with good abilities, too, I have found a Red Double Saber with Power III / Arm III / Lucky Rise I, that's a very good weapon.
