I'd assume it would be easy to do by yourself. You have a great amount of tools to work with, so if you have a few reference images, you should be able to get the look right.

There's nothing wrong with basing your character after an existing one. Yes, its silly at times to have a billion Kiritos and Sephiroths, but if that's how they enjoy playing it should be respected, just as those like yourself who like to go very deep into their character enjoy that. Not everyone enjoys making a character with an extended backstory

Actually, you're right there aren't as many in this. The only one that comes to mind for me is Melee Sephiroth, although I haven't searched vision phone. Kirito on the other hand.... I think I've seen enough of Kirito and キリト. At least with Asuna some of those are other characters.

with the kind of character generator we've got, I don't see why it would be impossible to find the right combo you would want to get the anime character you desire... well except for the current limited hair and accessory options.

other than that, things can be tweaked.
