Is there a way to make this game run full screen? Windowed version kinda ruins the immersion feeling.

you have the option of running PSO2 in virtual fullscreen mode, which produces the same results as fullscreen but is actually a full-size borderless window - meaning overlay mode will work with it! To enable virtual fullscreen mode, follow these steps:

Open your Documents\SEGA\PHANTASYSTARONLINE2 folder.
Open the user.pso2 file in a text editor such as Notepad.
Find the Windows section that looks something like this:
"Windows = {
FullScreen = false,
Height3d = 480,
Height = 720,
VirtualFullScreen = true,
Width3d = 640,
Width = 1280,
},"
Make sure FullScreen is false and VirtualFullScreen is true. You can leave the rest alone.
Save and close the file and open up the game!

That was for the client benchmark test. It's a normal option now if you look at Ezodargom's picture.

As for what it does, it it makes the game full screen in native resolution, but still makes the game behave like a normal window so you can easily alt+tab to other applications without the monitor having to revert to another mode.

It's kinda fake full screen, game is in window mode, but the window fits the whole screen as if it was full screen. Basically it allows for fast alt-tabbing, plus in that mode there's no screen tearing.
