Mag feeding level not lowering

Im learning as I go but I finally got my mag to 45 but upon feeding him tonight he his energy is not lowering like it used to. I ran two missions and his energy sat at 84% through both and once I was done. Whats wrong with my buddie :c.

It's a bug, to get the mags level to reset unequip it and re-equip it.

Is there a way to fix it cause lately its doing it alot.
