I just installed PSO2 and patched and when i tried to create a character this happened. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/850/pso20130313021727000.jpg/ any idea why? please help if you can

Are you using the English Patch, by chance? It updated today (Sega changed all of one string), and stuff like that usually happens when you're using an outdated core patch.

If that's not it, then try to file-check (third button on the launcher) and see if the issue persists.

Nah, I'm guessing yours is just out of date. Are you using the one dated March 13th?

my english patch? i downloaded one from like august 2012. can i just repatch PSo and fix things or should i just reinstall? ty for the help btw

That's really out dated then. Assuming you're using the same english patch as everyone else go back to their forums and download it again, they update it whenever a patch goes out.

I'd save re-installing for a last-resort, since you'll have to redownload all of the huge patches from scratch.

Run a file-check (third button on the launcher) to be safe before repatching. This will restore most (if not all) of the files to their original states (should only take a few minutes, depending on your hard drive speed and your internet connection).
