How often do you guys typically see these inflict for each level? I got shock 3 on a double saber and even after I do Illusion Rave a million times, it never seems to work. Is there a list of the chances of infliction or does anyone have any testimony?

What are you trying these on? I remember having shock 2 or something and it proc'd like all the time. Certain enemies are more resistant or weak to certain ailments, with bosses usually being immune to all but one or two.

I've been trying shock on random mobs in ruins and forest; maybe I should try mines. That also beckons the question: what bosses are weak to what ailments and what mobs are susceptible to what?

For the most part normal mobs are weak against whatever ailement is associated with their weaknesses, but there are some confusing ones. You can't poison bug type darkers, but you can poison the statue ones, they're still resistant to it though and it doesn't proc as often. You can't burn the dragonkin as far as I know but they get poisoned and chilled really easily etc.

As for bosses:

For mini bosses, Rockbear can be burned or miraged, caterdran and caterdransa can be frozen and poisoned, Gwanadha can be confused (though it procs more on the bits), De Malmoth can be burned I think, I heard tranmizer can be miraged but I haven't tried it my self (mirage sucks D: ), dunno about Wolgahda but I assume it can be confused.

As for the bigger bosses some of them have weaknesses to a specific element but it has a unique effect and I think there's a limit to the number of times you can do it. If you burn the banthers then they roll around on the ground trying to put it out. Vol Dragon's feet can be frozen to the ground keeping him from moving while he tries to break free. Quartz's crystal parts can be poisoned making them take more damage like weak bullet. Falz Elder can be shocked which causes him to fall down and makes all his arms vulnerable.

If the other bosses have something then I don't really know what it is.

A bit of guesswork should help you figure out which is which.

I don't know about crys draals being shockable or de marmoses being confusable, never seen those myself and those weren't there a few weeks ago.

AFAIK, SE level has nothing to do with proc rates. Speaking from personal experience, I can get a good amount of proc's with level I, and with III I don't notice a higher rate. If it does exist, I'd imagine it [the boost in proc rate, not potency] is as useless as the skill tree proc boosts for Force/Techer.

I heard that the level increases duration, which honestly makes more sense than proc rate.

Gwanahda can also be burned, and there's a part of Big Vardha that can be shocked, I think.

It literally does not get simpler than "20 seconds," unless you count just plain "seconds" without a number.

Something worth noting is that mirage actually shortens in duration with higher levels.

They seem just as lost on what Mirage is even good for too. If that thing about it nulling recovery is true though then it's another status effect that's stronger against players than enemies. :/

I see what you did there.
Does higher mirage level = higher chance of enemy missing attack?
E.g. Mirage 1=20%, mirage 5=100%?

If so, that'd make sense.

Daaaammmnnnn. Lots of info. Thanks guys. I'll check out these links and figure it out. Either way, i'll test out falz and report my proc rate with it.
