Having problems with the english patch... help?

Sorry if this has been posted a million times but I could not find anything pertaining to exactly the problem I am having. Ok so the game will load up fine non patched but after moving the patch files in win32 the game will black screen. while unzipping the patch I get a few files that say corrupt or something similar next to them using 7zip and winrar I am guessing that is the problem. I've tried re downloading and unzipping several times. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you sure you're using the most recent version of the patch?

You'll get errors while extracting with WinRAR if you don't run as an Admin.

If this is the latest then yes.

Most recent version: Mar. 13, 2013 (main patch), Feb. 20,2013 (JP enemy name file), Feb. 20, 2012 (large files)

I'm only using the main patch and large files.

Try what BlackAlphaG said then and extract it as admin then. o:

Also if your problem persists try using just the normal patch files, not the large ones as they aren't really necessary

So I finally got it working. I ended up deleting everything restarting my computer and doing a clean install and re downloaded the patch files. Thanks for the assistance I really appreciate it. playing on ship 2 name "Starforsaken"
