Well, since the old thread never gets updated, Zyn and I figured we'd make a new one that's kept up to date.

Now just to keep things going smooth here, we'll have some rules. So:

Rules

1. Times must be posted in this thread in some way or another.

You can do a screenshot, but video is very much preferred since we're all aware of certain er... "styles of play" *coughSPEEDHACKTRAINERcough* that allow people to achieve things that aren't possible with normal game input.

No real formatting needed for this as long as you get the point across clear. If something looks particularly unrealistic though you'll need a video rather than just a screenshot. Make sure for solos that classes are clear. If you want you can post skill trees as well and I can include those too.

NPC's are not allowed for runs, by the game itself in many cases, unless required like in the case of story missions. This means no bringing bots to divide a boss's attention a little and such. I know that its been changed so you can bring bots in ta now, but weak bullet from them is far too good and too random to be allowed access to.

Ah, and clearly you need to be doing Very Hard, or in the case of story missions, the highest available difficulty. When the next difficulty level is released, old times will probably be moved to a Very Hard section and left alone.

For bosses, if the boss has a non story cutscene, you'll need to play against that variant of the boss. This means even if you need to play an EQ to fight it, you'll need to do that. As for Falz HUnar, while he is definitely a boss, the only variant of him in a standardized area is at the end of Darker's Den. For now, he won't have his own listing.

2. Input altering programs ARE allowed.

IE macros, joy2key, what have you. These, in my opinion, do not alter the game enough to be considered cheating. These only apply input that was already possible, albeit with precision and swiftness a mere human may not be able to achieve. Somewhat of a gray area, but for the sake of this they are NOT considered cheating.

3. Play nice.

We're here to compete to the best of our ability or watch others do so. We don't need to go outright insulting people. You think some guy is stupid and you can do the run better? Awesome. Prove it. Fight with your times, not your words. Bickering can go elsewhere.

We cut after the second pod, because it's a lot faster if you plan it correctly.
Also, for some reason, the game feels horribly unresponsive on unlimited FPS, which is why my triple dashes are slow / fail consistently. I'm not sure what it is but it never happens on 60FPS.

Rare boss battles can be uploaded, but will be marked with a :rappy: symbol to note this since there are differences between these and usual boss battles. They will simply be placed under the section of the regular boss. Infection will also be marked as such:

Level 2: :etongue:
Level 3: :disapprove:

For example, a boss entry marked like this

would be rare, level 3 infected Profound Darkness. Congratulations to Herpy for beating a boss we probably won't see for years!

As far as recording videos goes, you have a quite a few options, though some of them aren't free. Do note that recording full size uncompressed video has a tendency to slow your framerate even on rather good computers. For this reason, if you choose to record like that you may consider lowering your game's settings or screen resolution. If you can go faster with lower settings, its recommended that you do that rather than making a pretty video. If you can accomplish both though, its very nice.

Coming from a guy who said his party was not using the MGG, when they obviously were? The guy that said he did not AFK his PA's but Jess has a picture of him sitting in seabed for over 20 hours? The guy that claims the races he actually lost (for example my race with him at Seed Express) never happened? Yeah........about that.

What do you mean by a full run? Do you mean as in a single area or maybe a single person's view? I'd say for multi person runs it should be fine to post a single video that only shows one person's perspective since not everyone records.

It would be cool to have every person's view, but if not there shouldn't be a problem.

Anyways, I'm looking forward to seeing this thread continue. Hopefully without drama. God knows it didn't work well in PSU. Well....it did once "1# Gunmaster" quit. It was a such shame he came back during Absolute Zero.

Hopefully I can get some form of TA in Defiance. It's what made PSU so awesome for me. It would PSO2 too, if I could stay hooked with the game. Unfortunately, for me PSO2 lost its luster after level 40 for whatever reason. At times I really do wish I could stay interested in it more.

Yeah, I actually mentioned something about it on the bottom of the post. That was the idea for how I would set that up anyway, it could change. I will say I think it would be getting a bit ridiculous to have 4 person boss gang ups for most battles considering that a single player can potentially kill a lot of them in a minute or less. Multiple mini bosses such as caters and such may be something to consider though.

Edit: I guess I'll get started on formatting for boss battles on the first post. It wasn't something I was really thinking about at first, especially since it wasn't a big thing in past games which Zyn and I took influence for the thread from, but I agree it is a pretty neat thing to do.

I think that while lots of people surely know how to complete the Time Attacks very quickly, the best times will ultimately come down to who has the luck and meseta to spend on purely offense-oriented gear. And timing comes into play as Forces who can storm through spamming Zonde might be able to squeeze out better times now than people who try to do so after the upcoming Zonde nerf.
You wouldn't be the first person to say something like that. But as I said in the first post. Please prove it. You may find its not nearly as easy to do as you think even if you have the best gear in the game. Even if you have good luck and good items, if you don't have a plan and/or aren't up to par to executing it you will fall behind more skilled players. That is competition.

By your logic, if one were to work out the required muscles to an acceptable extent and jump straight into a game of American football without knowing the rules, as long as they had the uniform and the aforementioned brawn they could be a star player with almost no effort. I think most people can acknowledge that sports take skill to some degree. Is it impossible to think that a digital game might?

Edit: That said, players with the best times likely will have some of the best gear simply because they wanted to play well against similar players. Its kind of a natural thing for this type of game to promote such play.

Force looking fun is honestly what brought me back... that and the fact that soloing is possible again. That was the main deterrent when I left before the New Year. Then again, that was during open beta lol.

I just don't know what kind of time commitment I'm looking at is all...

Dodo is the meseta devouring douchebag guy that upgrades your weapons. While grinding is in some ways more forgiving than PSU, it can be frustrating. Adding abilities to your weapon, or affixes as we call them is similarly frustrating. You'll grow to hate that man as the rest of us have, lol.

You know... I was thinking about that. I don't think I want to allow that in the end. I realize Sizustar's was up and they were one of the ones who suggested it, but honestly I don't feel like that should be an extra variable in this. I'll remove that video from the post and add on a bit to reflect this. Plus the point of a solo here is really more that you're able to do it alone. For a story mission it might be forced, but its always been sort of an honor rule not to bring NPC's for things like this so I think I'll continue that here now.

I'm surprised no one has point this out, but competitive TA is something that appeals mainly to Forces. And it's very easy to see why:
-Forces don't have to deal with element grinding (biiig deterrent for Melee/Range)

Yeah I can see why you might say that although purchasable 10*s (for premium clearly) and pyro's (basically purchasable 10*s anyway) make this far, far easier for other classes. More difficult to get into, yeah a bit. But given how much easier grinding and affixing is now cost-wise, its not terrible trying to get going in this. Element grinding is indeed a chore that leaves Forces oddly unaffected overall though.

Honestly though, there are still a number of well off ranged and striking players despite this. There are quite a few people with the funds and equipment to time attack that don't as well which isn't terribly surprising. I would hope to see more players in those classes do it, but as you've mentioned they are clearly more difficult to break into.

Considering the difficulty of enemies in this game, I don't think BiS is necessarily required for melee and ranged because they do far much more damage than force that they'll pretty much one shot everything in Time Attacks (like, I'm not even joking. Force will only do 'more' with a bolt tree, but that requires constant charging for every single attack). For bosses, it will probably make a difference, but only that of a couple~few seconds.

It's still definitely more expensive to gear up melee and ranged versus force, though, although force still isn't cheap if you're going for expensive 4 slot sets or something.

But more on topic, I'm kind of interested in seeing some multiplayer Time Attack times. I never see them around on NND either (except Nab 1, and rarely Lilipa), so would be interesting to see what people could do.

There's a better strat for Zesh which can be done easily and doesn't require him to "pop-out" early. Just needs a lot of firepower and maxed out Standing Snipe (and probably ZRA). Requires Homing Emission usage with rifle too.

I tried to do it while I was hunting Rig for MB but apparently I'm not strong enough to take him out on a leg knockdown with 30 light Fleetmalincas (or whatever they're called, the red pyro mechs). Plus for some reason my Standing Snipe kicks in really late on the 3rd PA instead of the 2nd, which reduces my damage by a bit.

I'll try again later, maybe with PA damage up from PP drink instead and see if I can do it. Don't think I had max ZRA at the time either.

What moves are capable of chain killing in TAs? Is it entirely dependent on lag? I've managed to hit two spawns with a diffuse shell, but it happens very rarely.

Traps were added to the northern path of the cross section in the mines are as soon as you get on the conveyors. Aside from that and maybe the Vita spawn thing, I don't know that anything was changed. I do notice that zonde doesn't seem to reach the third robot in the first set in the long narrow path with a set of 3 Spardan A, Signo Guns, and sparguns leading to a gilnas in area 1. Not sure if that's related to zonde nerf though.

Thanks for the info. I think the JP wiki said something like, the 2nd map is no longer considered "mines" and quests that require "in the mines" will no longer be completable there. It may have been like that all along, though.

In the Time Attack quests, the second / third areas are never considered their native area, but rather the first. So if you get a Team Order that's like "Kill Darkers in Forest", boot up Nab2 and complete it in 5 seconds in Area 5. :wacko:

Also, in Lilipa TA, there is now a gate blocking north of the first spawn, so your northern path players cannot proceed early like before. However, SEGA are reverting Lilipa back to how it was due to numerous complaints (http://pso2.jp/players/support/measures/?id=1273).

Also, the Vita spawn limit is still there and I wish they'd remove it. After a certain numbers of enemies spawn, no more can spawn which is goddamn retarded. It's the same in normal maps too, so if you try to rush to the end of Subdue Za Oodan for your FUN runs on a Vita block, the end code will not spawn unless you kill enemies that have spawned already. :/

To help with Amduscia, pimp out your mag with HP Restore B(?). Being able to restore your HP without using a mate is so incredibly useful (especially as a melee, much more so than Iron Will :rolleyes:). The main problem I always had with Amduscia was the goddamn sentries doing so much damage overtime since there's a lot of them in Area 1, and it drove me nuts how much time you lost as melee.

GU/RA is pretty dreadful for all TAs. Low damage, slow travel, etc.

For TA, the combos are:

HuFi, FiHu, RaHu (RaFi has been outclassed now), FoFi and FoTe.
Each one is used in different situations, such as HuFi in Nab2 group TA, FoTe in all Nab2 TA, FoFi in all other TAs, FiHu in all TAs (except Lilipa), etc. etc.

You need to put Step Attack on your RaHu tree though, otherwise RaFi is better.

Not exactly, as you use Shifta before you enter, and there's the time wasted from teleporting in and waiting for the cutscene to finish. In other words, it basically gives me the 5-10s to keep it going through the cutscene as well.

My Dark Tree is going to get it anyway, although my Techer is only level 50 right now so I don't have the SP to finish the tree fully. ._.

@Z-0: Lets not be silly here. If it were that easy, Tomia would be doing it as well. Connections also come into account here. Doesn't really matter if you're in Europe or Japan if you get frequent, sporadic delays in latency that kick in an extra half second to the switching. Not to mention as you've demonstrated, knuckle dash is almost as good.

Also, I just personally find that shit difficult to do consistently, especially with weapon switching. Props to you for pulling it off, but don't be a dick by implying its the easiest thing ever.

Actually, for 0PP movement knuckle dash is faster than triple step if you do it manually instead of holding down attack. But if you take into account Assault Buster, triple step is faster.

Not much to suggest really. You should try seeing if you have enough attack to start skipping some JAs on enemies, as it can save quite a bit of time. It depends if you spec'd into FSU2 though, because if you didn't (and maxed JABs instead), it probably won't work. Also take team Shifta if you can, although I don't know how much power it has. Our team has 18% boost and it's hugely significant for Tee Ayin.

Strategy wise, you can add bullet the rappies in Tundra if you get the range right. Might be faster than walking over to each spawn, but might cause PP problems since you're not regenerating.

Quick question;
I'd just like to know how it seemed like they skipped taking out the mobs in those portals on nab 1 in the very first video on the first page. lol

Its absurd, but maybe if someone could clear up this little part, I may think it less absurd.

If you have a Force(or Te) hug the white barrier at the back of the portal room, you can cast Grants through the barrier to break the rocks. This will then change the East and West portals. However, skipping the four corners room entirely will not allow you to clear the quest after killing Banther. In order for the quest to clear, the Agnis NEED to die. No idea why, that's just how it is. Our 2nd Force backtracks to kill these Agnis once they have cleared the Rappy spawn in Area 2.

Possibly, I have no problems with using this thread for discussion.

I just played the quest and say it's very, very awesome (unlike Amduscia 1). It's a straight-up quest like PSO1/PSU where you kill enemies and proceed with no funny business. The wait-on switches DO NOT move faster with more people on them, so have one or two people as wait-on switch people (there are 2 in some rooms).

Goronzoran and Vol Dragon spawn quite close to each other in this quest, and Vol has no infection. I recommend a Fighter with a freeze double saber for this quest, as that's the fastest way to kill him with a party. 2 Rangers is also recommended.

There is a switch puzzle in area 2, where you press a switch and then move to others in order around the room. I'll get the order later today if someone doesn't beat me to it. At the end, the 3 bosses spawn separately of each other. I never fought more than one at a time, although it's possible that if you take too long, they'll spawn together.

Right now, my recommended party setup is:

FiHu (or HuFi), RaHu, RaHu, FoTe (or FoFi). Do not know if Dark is better for this. While everything might be dark weak, a dark tree might not necessarily kill faster.

The last 3 bosses can fight together if you take too long. The barriers in the area before Vol with the 4 buttons that isolate you can go away if you take too long as well.

I really don't like standing on the buttons, but I think the enemy spawns are fine.

yeah I just did it on normal to learn things and I have to say it's a straight forword quest and seems hella short compared to the other TAs. I was looking for tricks/shortcuts but didn't find anything (of course that doesn't mean there isn't any shortcut) I even backtrack to check if any of the door in area 1 had opened up but nothing happened. maybe I killed the enemies in the wrong order or something? And lol at those buttons in area 2, I swear I thought It would never end.

They heavily nerfed Goronzorans HP all around (his sticks as well as himself). I was doing ~1400 per Zan bounce after his sticks were gone and killed him with one break. Easily under a minute. Would be curious how fast FO FI can kill him (don't have FI leveled yet, HU is 1 lolz).

Yes, patch notes states that they nerfed him. Made him stay down longer after breaking the poles lol. It's funny because FoFi or FoTe could already kill him under a minute solo... lol.

If you have a Force(or Te) hug the white barrier at the back of the portal room, you can cast Grants through the barrier to break the rocks. This will then change the East and West portals. However, skipping the four corners room entirely will not allow you to clear the quest after killing Banther. In order for the quest to clear, the Agnis NEED to die. No idea why, that's just how it is. Our 2nd Force backtracks to kill these Agnis once they have cleared the Rappy spawn in Area 2.

New TA pretty cool. Just having lv.55 enemies on VH makes you have to work a little bit more than the previous ones.

It's gimmick with the weight buttons and the Area 2 buttons seems pretty pointless and I'm not sure why the first weight button is so much faster than all the rest but whatever. I give it thumbs up overall and hope they push out some more soon (heard there is a Ruins and City one coming next?)

I recommend a Fighter with a freeze double saber for this quest, as that's the fastest way to kill him with a party. 2 Rangers is also recommended.

Latency doesn't make you inconsistent when it comes to triple dashing unless your connection is shaky (eg: changes its ping to things often). Providing it's a consistent connection, you just need to get the timing and practice it, nothing more than that.

That being said, Knuckle Dashing is hardly outclassed. Faster than Triple Dashing unless you use Assault Buster, although if you're planning on RA/HU, you'll probably need to triple.

And a step most people miss: You must JUMP to make the weapon switch occur, otherwise it will seem really slow. In other words:

Weapon Switch -> Dash -> Jump -> Dash -> Jump -> Dash -> Attack -> Repeat.

My connection is a bit unstable, but that's because of the shared wifi at my dorm and it is quite annoying when someone downloads too much. I do plan on going Ra/Hu for some TAs, so I really do need to get the hang of it. I'm content with knuckle dashing on my Fo/Fi, so it's fine.

I'll keep the jumping in mind for the weapon switch. I'm sure I've been doing just that but probably missing it a few times. Thanks for pointing it out, though. Maybe I'll get it right this time.

triple dashing is easy on nab and amd but I can't do it consistent on Lillipa. all the shit going on causes my FPS to drop in certain spots. I just started to solo my tacos and I wont get near any of the times posted on the front page until I get some better gear.

Surprisingly over end is really good against a lot of things. Like on banther i break all the nails at once ( for the most part ). I can break all of goranzorans orbs at the same time with 1 over end but its hard to do cuz i have to be at an angle and swing twice to weaken them. I did it once and I might do it when I'm bored again.

Don't worry about it. Since the 4/10 (and hell, even before it), melee is a far better class for Time Attacking. Force really pales in comparison to Hunter and Ranger these days in all gameplay modes (no matter what PSO-World says) due to overall lower DPS and the requirement to charge absolutely goddamn everything.

There's a reason the best Altar TAs are done with no FOs (for example this was done by my team, with 3 FI and 1 RA (http://i1284.photobucket.com/albums/a569/xzynetic/pso20130501_001038_000_zpsfe139864.jpg)).

To further drive the point, double melee strategies are used in Naberius II and Amduscia with only 1 FO. There is no FO in Duo Naberius 1 and 2 also, as RA and FI is far better (the only reason we didn't use a FI is because of latency problems; we can't kill like the Japanese).

Yea i was thinking that. Reading here though it just seemed like people still think hunter isn't one of the best (or saying its not even better than force lol) and i think it's crazy. I thought hunters were good before the patch but now they are just awesome.

Oh and Burn Spaada has the same latent. So that would be the sword you'd wanna see on him.

Well here's another. This one is NOT a dragon and it was a bitch. Over end snaps off everything partwise first before you get to the weak points so if u just keep swinging it head on you'll never get to the weakpoint damage which is the whole meat of killing him them quickly. I used a lot of other PAs as well its just none of break the parts as quick as over end. With my 50% fire raizenrok i couldn't 1 shot the nails so it was useless (I need a 50% gekitsnata :3). I also tried some weird PAs out because who knows maybe it would have been randomly amazing (okay okay I wanted to make a video with ride slasher in it).

Oddly enough, the best tool seemed to be the regular slash on the sword. It helped weaken the nails so that over end could break the front nails in 1 shot vs multiple which exposed the face and then you have to turn over end away and almost backwards or else it will hit the nails way in the back. I think rangers got this tho. Even if I clean up the run I think I personally can only match the current time and that would be it's peak.

I'd like to see other hunters give this one a whirl. It's harder than it looks. Thinking on it though, Fighter probably would make this much easier lol.

12:40 was my first solo run of Altar as FiHu. It's the only one I've ever actually completed because I keep ragequitting.

I almost got a sub-11 run earlier, but then the first Cater and Quartz were like "lol nope, not poisoning :wacko:"

The TA is far too luck based overall, as there's so much that can go wrong at nearly every point in the TA if luck is not on your side (first room, deegala room, goron room, room before last, and obviously the last). Relying on RNG to get fast times is just silly, as I have to hope everything poisons in the last room to do it quickly.

I'll probably get my sub-11 done at some point, but it probably won't be anytime soon as the TA drives me crazy.

Yea i killed quartz in like 2? over ends or something crazy like that when i was helping for a CO. Then i realized it was poison on the 2nd one and hit for like 75k and I was like, "well this is going to be annoying to record."

I gotta do one of these solo NAB 1 2 or Ama TA vids. I just don't really have the time for long runs right now so I just do the quick boss ones since they don't take as long to get down (since we fight them all the time anyway.) I might do the new one or NAB 2. They look kinda fun.

I had a run with a regular mammoth a good time too but I didn't knuckle dash in the beginning so I scrapped the whole video haha.

When I saw the mari I was thinkin, "Welp that runs ruined" then it came out perfect and I was like, "I'm okay with this."

I'm kind of the opposite when it comes to TA'ing; I really hate doing boss runs because of the time taken to actually run to the boss, and then to find out the boss acts in a completely random manner meaning you have to start all over again (thus meaning more running!). I was going to do a RaHu boss compilation against GuRa, but after I did Rockbear (which was like 8 or 9 seconds; it was a belt lol), I just gave up coz I couldn't be bothered running to each boss.

I rather do TA runs because I can just start again without the whole "waiting" process, plus it allows me to try and improve on what I've already done. o/

Yea I like the non random-ness of TA. I used to TA in PSU on PC/PS2 and won both MAGs for TA as at the time we were the best team on the server and I really love the idea of strategy. You have to make up a whole plan and try to execute it then tweak it to get the time down as well as minimize randomness. Boss rushing is actually not as random as it looks. You can minimize randomness in there too like my de mammoth kill I can do every single time I go in there because I found a way to make the boss react a certain way. But yea some shit is just random tho so you just have to find a way to cut it down as best as you can.

What I don't like about longer TAs is that there are little mistakes that can ruin a whole run at the very end. I'm sure you know all about how it's so painful to have that perfect run and bam someone makes a tiny error (say weakbullet misses or something) and the run is entirely fucked.

Edit: And running to the boss portal is actually what determines what video i do next lollll. I hate doing that shit so depending upon my mood I pick easier boss portal runs (tundra is the easiest). I wanna do dragon ex but I hate that run.

Well. 4 Hunter trees and 2 fighter trees. I messed up a few times on my trees back in the day and I made one for subbing other classes so now thanks to the reset I have alot of tree to play with. Heres my trees:

Hunter sub FI optimal w/ automate halfline
Hunter sub FI optimal raw dps
Hunter sub RA optimal raw dps
Hunter standlone optimal raw dps
Fighter sub HU w/chase
Fighter sub HU w/o chase

Yea, I'd go for atleast 120 pp honestly. That's the sweet spot. I'm working on a stigma set up to get 160pp for 4 over ends.

Yea poison happens. The result would be the same without poison as far is his position but a few seconds slower. This one wasn't too hard. He always does that crystal thing at the beginning like 80% of the time so hes just sitting there. I just gotta make sure I'm in the right position for over end and you have to wait a little in between or else his head will be in the wrong place so that's why you don't see me do it 3 times in a row consecutively. I also have to see which stagger hes doing so I know how much time I have in between over ends.

If you were to upgrade your pc to well over the required minimum for your settings you could leave it on unlimited quite easily.

I only play keyboard so im not sure how controller players do this but for keyboard you can set weapon switching commands to the number pad, 1-0 or F1-F12. I prefer having it on 1-0 myself since I find it easier to triple dash /Quad dash that way. ( i still cant quad dash though not cool like Esofor! :( )

yeah, i can see people getting bored of the game, seeing as i only play TA/IR nowadays

the thing about gearing up is it's not that hard. i've had people tell me that i'm really strong, but my gear is absolute trash. i'm missing about 135 s-atk in unit affixes/bonuses alone. i spent maybe 10 mil tops on my basic set of gear and i'm waiting until maybe the next difficulty to upgrade

and tendinitis sounds like it sucks =(. i feel like i wouldn't play this game if i couldn't dash

With Psycho Wand or Koi-whatever rod, 5:XX is easily possible. I think a perfect run with my equips would be ~6:10-6:15.

Nice runs guys. Idk, I haven't practiced much with nab II so I don't see myself putting a run of that up for a while.

But also, with the new techs coming out, I see some faster times with them. The dark one is potentially very promising and fire one could certainly be useful as well if its strong. Of course, they could all be complete shit too. But hey, at least some of the new PA's will probably be uber!

Improved my Nab2 FO/TE time by all of 8 seconds :3 it was hard to do much with the new techs (including namegid...). Basically the only change was a very slightly cleaner area 1 and using Nafoie for Rockbear/Cyclonedhas. Rest of the run is the same.

Really cool to see a ranger doing Amd to me. That doesn't happen too often often. The Nab1 run is nice as well.

I feel like I want to ta something, but I feel like everything has been really played out on the game at the moment. Been doing random games in lieu of TA. Maybe they'll add that other arks gp mission so I can mess about with that soon? Not exactly the most interesting mission to ta in my opinion given its brevity and lack of actual drops, but still something that's not the other few missions there are now.

People do it different ways, but I had been calculating from end of boss intro cutscene to beginning of boss death cutscene myself, rounding up and down respectively to the nearest second for start and end times.

Its somewhat hard to standardize it given the lack of indication by the game of how fast you killed them.

:o Someone finally beat that. I'm surprised someone didn't do it earlier with a demonic fork though.

The 11* rod doesn't really help anywhere with the number of hits as far as I remember. As long as you have a fork, PP from units, etc. you're probably fine as far as that goes.

I do like some of the ideas in that run though as you yourself touched on their execution leaves something to be desired in many cases.

I might bother with general ta again (aside from lillipa because in my opinion that mission can die forever ~+^_^+~) if I get quad dashing down, but I've been playing Pokemon and random other things lately due to lack of content. Maybe super hard will bring in something new to care about for me...

Edit: Out of curiosity, does the pyroxene talis do enough to give an advantage with its latent? I would think it would, but idk. But considering how having higher than 3s units might make a difference...

If I recall, for gimegid ticks it was around 300 damage less per tick? I don't believe anything suddenly started one hitting that didn't before to be quite honest. Namegid is namegid and I don't... *think* that changed with hits? It might have, but not by much.

The only difference I noticed with Fork compared to your run when I ran this was it took an extra hit on Vol to kill him (7 vs. 6), and first Cater takes an extra hit too (dismissing lolpoison ofc). Rest should be the same.

I'm going to say no here. Were this game more like PSU maybe, but weak bullet is something far too good and too randomly used by the bots to allow here in my opinion. I'll add a note about this to my first post.

Getting around to posting the latest times up now. Haven't felt like playing much of PSO2 last few days so I started a nuzlocke of a randomized Pokemon Black.

Well, my best Gu/Hu solo times are only around 8 minutes to 15 minutes for all the TAs.
Nothing special. The lag probably hurts me a lot.
Always waste around 6 shots of Infinity Fire before the next set of spawns shows up.
Looks like it's instant for other people.

Anyway, keep up the good work.

That's really not normal, even for a European connection. I'm not sure where you're from or what you're connecting through, but that sounds like really, really bad ping. Even on a plane playing Vita PSO2, I've managed to get relatively decent (shitty in comparison to usual, but good given circumstances) ping with enemy spawns and such. So yeah, I don't know if you can do anything about that, but I'd check up on it.

Actually, it's normal for a European connection too. Enemy spawns are delayed somewhat that I can really notice it sometimes, especially when the spawn is when I'm next to the enemy.

They can get delayed sure, but not by that much I would imagine. Or maybe I'm just misinterpreting what he means with his timing. I've played at ping where I can quad kill with rafoie and I've played at ping where I can't even double kill with it if that gives you an idea.

Given your telling me that you can consistently double kill rafoie with your connection, it shouldn't be *too* terrible generally. But what he's saying was what I would assume to be 2-3 second delay for a spawn to come up to me which sounds very wrong. Of course, correct me if I'm wrong there as I can see myself being very off with the timing.

It's more like a 1 second delay, which is still enough to waste PP and attacks.
In JP time attack videos they like to do stuff like one cluster bullet that kills a whole set of spawns.
Can't do that on my side. I always fall through De Marmos on Naberius 2, too.
Weapon changing sometimes takes 1-2 seconds.
On Falz Arms, sometimes it starts and I move and attack for a bit, then I teleport back to the start.
Arms themselves like to teleport too.

Might be partially because of my ISP.
I noticed that YouTube/Nico streaming seems slow and online games lag/jerk during peak times, but not when everyone's asleep.

Even without the lag, I'd probably only be a minute faster at best.
Still way behind you guys.

The Ringahda kill is pretty sloppy, I could probably get sub 2 mins if I dont mess up on the core like that, the cata kill was also pretty bad but a times a time i guess lol.

I've seen Gu/Ra and Ra/Hu downing Bal Rodos a lot faster, like 15 sec or so solo.
But hey that's nice time for Fighter ^^

No, GuRa and RaHu don't kill Rodos in 15 seconds solo. To do that you'd have to kill Rodos before he's even hookable, which I'm pretty sure is not possible considering how much HP Rodos has.

By the way Syhon, you should totally have named your nab1 "Disconnect".

And Kemicho, props for the Kyurem theme. Just played through Black and Black 2 actually. Didn't really expect to hear that in a PSO2 video.

And to whoever had the Bullet Bow question, there are boss kills with it and they are fairly fast. PA's used were things like Kamekaze Arrow and Master Shoot. And weak bullet of course.

Nab 2 TA a few screw ups here and there and my mag screwed me a bit as well.

Got a bit lucky on A1 start off with the mobs grouping up setting me up for some good Kanran's

Also messed up on the one shot on Rock bear to lazy to redo another so I am satisfied with this.
