Every Free-to-Play game has something for you to spend money on, and I'm curious what that would be in this game? Is it purely cosmetic items, or are there things that affect your character in various ways? How big an imposition is it if you're the type of player who doesn't spend money?

My father and I both played the hell out of PSU (and I loved PSO back in the day), so I'm just trying to gather as much information as I can, lol. Also, are the "Apartments" or whatever in PSU going to be in this game? And if so, are they any different? :D

Aside from costumes, you can buy other vanity stuff like extra character slots, extra mags, extra skill trees, more inventory and bank space...

Ah, that sounds fair, then. Although -- there are MAG's in this game?! Do they work the same as in PSO, or are they maybe easier to manage stat-wise? (trying to meet evolution-requisites was a pain :P)

Not character slots, just an additional character that if you delete will have to pay for again to create.

A lot of the items are determined by the RNG, and you're not guaranteed to get what you want.
