This year is looking like another delightful year of Titan mediocrity. I'm losing faith in Locker, and was sad to see Hasselbeck dropped.

Broncos sched full of great matchups and lots of storylines.

vs Ravens (Dumervil comes back to Denver; rematch of our playoff game debacle)
at Giants (Manning bowl for probably the last time)
at Colts (Manning returns to Indy)
at Patriots (Welker homecoming AND Manning v Brady? That's Primetime Gold!)

It's too bad we only get 1 of those games at home not to mention we play at Texans late in the season which could decide some things. It's gonna be a fun year for sure

We will see guys!
How they play draft this week!
3 days until draft!
http://www.nfl.com/draft/2013?akcarrier=other&akcarrier=other

With the draft things can change around just like last season with the QB's
I'm thinking Luke Joeckel will be 1st over all. Pick.

GIG EM AGGIES! WHOOP! First Von Miller (2nd overall and on Broncos which makes me happy), then Ryan Tannehill (7th overall), and now possibly Luke Joeckel a possible 1st round pick. A&M has been pretty good as of late and hell we even have the Heisman Trophy winner in Johnny "Football" Manziel right now. Man would be so awesome to win the National Championship this year. Mark your Calandar for Sept 14th (week 3) That's when Alabama visits College Station and the 12th Man at Kyle Field and you can bet Alabama is gonna have revenge on its mind.

Jags unveil their new uniform. It's a cool uniform . the part that's not all that is the helmet. But everything else is good. Now all they need to do is mostly win games. Is what counts

Recap of 1st round draft.
3 offense of tackles in the top ten one QB in the draft not even geno smith. 3 defense of end. 5 great big guys drafted!
Remember all QB's are freshman in college right now.
Top 10 best available

Top 10 players left

1. Eddie Lacy, RB, Alabama: Lacy's problem: There's not a logical fit for him early in the second round. The Arizona Cardinals?

2. Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia: If the Jacksonville Jaguars don't take him to start the second round, the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Jets, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Cardinals make logical options.

3. Jonathan Cyprien, FS, Florida International: Cyprien's ability to cover a large area of land in a few steps is incredible.

4. Menelik Watson, OT, Florida State: Eight offensive linemen went off the board on Thursday. Another one should go off the board early Friday.

5. Tank Carradine, DE, Florida State: There's a strong argument to be made he is more talented than teammate Bjoern Werner. (And a lot of other pass rushers.)

6. Ryan Nassib, QB, Syracuse: There's a good chance Nassib goes to the Jaguars, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport said earlier in the week. He shouldn't last long.

7. Arthur Brown, LB, Kansas State: One of Te'o's issues: There still are good linebackers out there like Brown, and LSU's Kevin Minter.

8. Jamar Taylor, CB, Boise State: He has the profile of a long-term NFL starter.

9. Jesse Williams, DT, Alabama: He got lost in the defensive tackle shuffle, but Williams has a dynamite skill set.

10. Manti Te'o, LB, Notre Dame: The Minnesota Vikings passed on Te'o three times in the first round. Perhaps the Detroit Lions will take the plunge at No. 35.

Eagles had a great draft. Not used to this whole "Take the best player on the board" thing, I still miss Andy Reid (Don't judge me), but I love what Coach Kelly is doing so far, I think his draft was very solid. Love the Barkley pick up too, didn't see it coming :)

1st pre season game

http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/2013080400/2013/PRE0/dolphins@cowboys#menu=highlights&tab=recap

Dallas Cowboys top Miami Dolphins in opener
CANTON, Ohio -- Rookie Devonte Holloman's 75-yard interception return with a tipped pass keyed the Dallas Cowboys' 24-20 victory over the Miami Dolphins in the Hall of Fame Game on Sunday night that opened the NFL's preseason.
The sixth-round pick from South Carolina was perfectly situated when rookie Chad Bumphis had Matt Moore's pass go off his hands in the second quarter. It was the biggest play for a Dallas defense switching to a 4-3 alignment under new coordinator Monte Kiffin.
But the Cowboys controlled most of the game one night after their former offensive lineman, Larry Allen, and former coach, Bill Parcells, were inducted into the hall.
Quarterback Tony Romo, coming off back surgery to remove a cyst, sat out for Dallas. So the Cowboys turned to their ground game - and ground down Miami as few regulars got onto the field.

Not really big into Preseason games until game 3. I'm just ready for the regular season to start. For Denver its Super Bowl or bust this year that's for sure. Should be interesting

LIONS. LIONS.

matt ass stafford will either throw for 6000 yards and win a superbowl, or he will get injured. our o-line is shit. our d-line is going to be pounding the green bay ass packers really good n deep. they're too tall to throw over, it's part of the new "too big to fail" philosophy heading into the lions culture.

son of a bitch. i haven't posted here in years. one post every 5 years

Nah the Colts didn't even get a 1st round pick b/c he was signed as a Free Agent. Doesn't matter really the Colts are damn lucky b/c they went from Manning to Luck. They are set for another 10+ years haha.

I'd say they should have stuck with manning until he retired or started to have kinks and winks. Like favre . Because manning is still superb. With out manning colts would never been in the Super Bowl in the new era . But with luck I'd say he will prolly make Super Bowl bound within 5 years or so since he's still young. But either or it is good to have a young qb. But at the same time new era depending. Unlike russel Wilson who actually did great and almost made super bowl

PS
My friend is so lucky to get manning in the fantasy

I should have chosen him

I am in a pick'em league with a friend of mine in Anchorage. I picked the Ravens to win on Thursday. Mostly because I didn't think that the Bronco D would be able to get any pressure with Miller suspended and Dumervill on another team. It was pretty exciting to watch though. Crazy that 27 points is usually enough to beat most teams in the league. Not on Thursday! l0l

I would have to say what would almost be a big surprise that the patriots almost lost to the bills with rookie Manuel !

And with the jets . Geno smith just got lucky with the win because of that penalty

And the rest of the teams they all wind the usual. Dunno about The steelers they are starting to slip off a bit. Almost like the chargers. How they do on some seasons.

The 'Boys always make it a nailbiter to some extent. Sure was delicious seeing good ol' Eli get INT'd at the end though, ahuehue. Defense looked really good most of the game. Offense needs to run more. Romo throwing almost 50 times is just not needed.

Honestly, I'm more scared of the Chiefs next week. They looked surprisingly sharp today.

Aww mayn you gotta bring the chiefs up!

I usually don't talk about my team but. This is what happen during the 2nd half. I took this photo and all I see is chiefs fans! A bunch of jags fans left because jags were doing horrible. Scobee only did two kick returns

I think it's the coaches fault for starting gabbert because he still injured with a sprained thumb. Though should have put hene in the whole game. Reason why gabbert was doing bad my theory / guess. But for future reference hene is not the answer, gabbert is not the answer and surely NO TEBLOW! . Since the jags lost a game like that. I think it's time for a QB in the draft. Especially since there wasn't a feast qb in this past draft. Although Manuel did good.

And sever with manning is awesome!
I'm telling you guys. The colts fan misses manning. They are thinking in their heads we should not have have up manning yet. Haha my guess. That what I would have not done .
The patriots win but looks like a struggle win, just like last week!
It's almost like a TEBOW magic!
And Miami 2-0 beating the colts and that's one reason they should have kept manning for a while before starting luck. Just like what Green Bay did with aaron Rodgers.

Kansas City aint that good. Coming back to win by 1 point isnt impressive. It only shows that your team needs more improvement so that it can handle both sides of the games without having to post a 4th quarter comeback. If they scored more points, I might hv been impressed.

I dont think they miss Manning. Im a broncos fan from birth but even I know that getting someone young and fresh is a good choice compared to keeping an almost 40 year old qb whose career was almost over for good.

Recap of todays game.

to me I gotta say. Seahawks are good. even though they played against my sorry team the jags. ( becuase of injuries and because of rookies , coaches, GM, etc ) they are good with their new rookies!

and Redskins and GiANTS 0-3?

ESPECIALLY THE giants gETTING SHUT OUT BY cAROLINA. It was the largest margin of victory in Panthers history,

and steelers once again. are losing it!

amd then Green bay getting and1-2 start after the bengals with a fumble return. scooped it up and went the final 58 yards.
things are like flipping around with some elite teams with the op piste. except the pats, saints, seahawks, etc

Been a Colts fan for a long time, grew to love Peyton Manning, and my fandom doesn't go away just because he's on a different team. I like the group they have around him over there so no reason not to be a fan. Not sure if that's "bandwagon" but I don't really care. Still love the Colts and I'm loving that young team more and more each week, but Peyton's my boy.

Yeah a good friend of mine feels the same way. As a lifelong Broncos fan our fan base I'm sure has increased due to Colts fans who still love to cheer for PM. I have no issue with it considering even though he's helping my favorite team now; I will always consider Manning a Colt first for sure. Sure it might sound like Colts fans are bandwagon fans, but I don't see it that way. I think some Colts fans loyalty to their team will be tested though in a few weeks on Sunday Night when the Broncos play the Colts in Indy. If I was a Colts fan for just that one night I would want us to beat the Broncos no questions asked.

[SPOILER-BOX]Niners get back on track by routing Rams
ST. LOUIS -- Colin Kaepernick threw two touchdown passes, Frank Gore had his first 100-yard game of the season and the San Francisco 49ers' defense stepped up without some of their stars in a 35-11 rout over the St. Louis Rams on Thursday night.

Anquan Boldin had five catches for 90 yards and a touchdown, and Gore had 153 yards on 20 carries and a 34-yard score for San Francisco (2-2), which was outscored 46-10 the previous two games. Navarro Bowman had two of the 49ers' five sacks with a strip leading to a fourth-quarter scoring run by Anthony Dixon.
The Rams (1-3) had an overtime win and tie against San Francisco last year, and took the early lead Thursday before falling flat. Greg Zuerlein banged in a 40-yard field goal off the right upright to end a nine-game scoring drought in the first quarter, but the 49ers answered with 28 straight points.

Alonso's two picks spark Bills' upset of Ravens
ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Buffalo Bills rookie linebacker Kiko Alonso's second interception of the game with 57 seconds remaining sealed a 23-20 win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.
Converted safety Aaron Williams also intercepted two Joe Flacco passes, and Fred Jackson had 87 rushing yards and one touchdown for Buffalo (2-2).

Robert Woods scored on a 42-yard touchdown reception. And the Bills totaled 213 rushing yards against a stout Ravens defense that had allowed just 224 in its first three games.
Flacco threw a career-worst five interceptions and finished 25-of-50 passing for 347 yards and two TDs.
Torrey Smith had five catches for 155 yards and a 26-yard touchdown for the Ravens (2-2).
The Ravens' last chance to tie the game ended when Flacco forced a pass over the middle intended for Dallas Clark. Bills safety Da'Norris Searcy got a piece of the ball, which bounced into the air and was intercepted by Alonso.

__

Hoyer leads resurgent Browns past Bengals
CLEVELAND -- Brian Hoyer, the local kid who always dreamed of being Cleveland's quarterback, threw two touchdown passes in his first start at home to lead the Browns to a 17-6 win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.
Hoyer's 1-yard touchdown pass to running back Chris Ogbonnaya with 4:54 left gave the Browns (2-2) an 11-point lead, and Cleveland turned it over to its vastly improved defense.

In his second start in place of injured Brandon Weeden, Hoyer completed 25 of 38 passes for 269 yards. He threw a 2-yard touchdown pass in the first half to tight end Jordan Cameron, who had 10 catches for 91 yards.
The Bengals (2-2) couldn't get anything going on offense. Andy Dalton was intercepted by Buster Skrine with 3:43 left, ending any chance of a comeback.
Cleveland limited the Bengals to 63 rushing yards, and cornerback Joe Haden contained wide receiver A.J. Green.

__

Bush pushes Lions past Bears in NFC North tussle
DETROIT -- Reggie Bush's 37-yard touchdown run helped Detroit score 27 points in the second quarter and he accounted for 173 yards of offense to help the Lions beat the Chicago Bears 40-32 on Sunday.

Detroit (3-1) moved into a first-place tie with Chicago (3-1) in the NFC North. The Lions scored 24 straight points, including three TDs in a span of 3 minutes, 26 second, after Matt Forte's 53-yard TD run gave the Bears 10-6 lead early in the second quarter.
Jay Cutler, who had four turnovers, threw a pair of touchdown passes and 2-point conversions in the final 4 minutes to pull Chicago within eight points to make the score look respectable.
Lions receiver Kris Durham recovered the onside kick to seal the win.

__

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Andrew Luck threw two touchdown passes, Trent Richardson ran for one score and the Indianapolis Colts became the latest to beat the Jacksonville Jaguars by double digits with a 37-3 win Sunday.
The Colts (3-1) weren't all that good, especially early in the first half, but they were plenty good against one of the worst teams in the league.

Indianapolis led 20-3 at halftime -- Jacksonville (0-4) has been outscored 75-8 in the first half this season -- and made it a laugher with consecutive touchdown drives in the third quarter.
Luck found Coby Fleener for a 31-yard score, a play in which even Fleener was surprised that he was so wide open, and then connected with Reggie Wayne in the back of the end zone from 5 yards.
That made it 34-3 and sent many of the Jaguars faithful heading to the exits.
The Colts had outgained the Jaguars 363-70 at that point.

__

Seahawks get first 4-0 start with win over Texans

On NFL Network
NFL Replay
will re-air the Seattle Seahawks' 23-20 win over the Houston Texans from Week 4 on Tuesday, Oct. 1 at 3:30 p.m. ET.

» NFL Network schedule
Houston (2-2) failed to score on two possessions in overtime. The Seahawks got the win on their overtime second drive after rallying from a 20-3 deficit.
A key play on the winning drive came when Doug Baldwin caught a 7-yard pass, and Kareem Jackson was penalized for unnecessary roughness for dumping him into the ground. That got Seattle in field goal range, and Hauschka's kick came four plays later.
The Seahawks rallied to tie it at 20-20 on an interception returned for a touchdown by Richard Sherman in the fourth quarter.
The NFL's best defense held Houston scoreless after halftime.

__

Giants fall to 0-4 after blowout loss to Chiefs
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Alex Smith threw three touchdown passes, and Dexter McCluster returned a punt 89 yards for another score as the unbeaten Kansas City Chiefs plunged the New York Giants to 0-4 with a 31-7 win Sunday.

Smith hit touchdown passes of 4, 2 and 35 yards for the Chiefs (4-0), who under new coach Andy Reid already have doubled their win total of 2012. They are the second team to go from a two-win season to 4-0 the next year.
The Giants, who trailed just 17-7 after three quarters, are 0-4 for the first time since 1987.
Eli Manning connected with Victor Cruz on a 69-yard scoring play for New York's only score. Kansas City's defense sacked Manning three times. Smith threw two interceptions, the first giveaways by the Chiefs, who also lost a fumble.

__

Vikings hold on for win over Steelers in London
LONDON -- Greg Jennings made two touchdown catches, Adrian Peterson ran for two scores and the Vikings' defense made a big stop with time running out to preserve a 34-27 win Sunday over the Steelers for Minnesota's first win of the season.

Playing at Wembley Stadium, Everson Griffen stripped Ben Roethlisberger of the football on the 6-yard line with 19 seconds left. Kevin Williams recovered the ball to seal the victory.
Jennings made a 70-yard catch-and-run for a touchdown, and Peterson had a 60-yard score to help offset two touchdowns by Pittsburgh rookie running back Le'Veon Bell -- giving Minnesota (1-3) some hope of turning around its season.
The Steelers fell to 0-4 for the first time since 1968.
Vikings quarterback Matt Cassel, starting in place of injured Christian Ponder, finished 16-of-25 passing for 248 yards and two touchdowns.
Roethlisberger was 36-for-51 passing for 383 yards, with one touchdown and one interception.

__

Cardinals outlast Buccaneers in comeback win
TAMPA, Fla. -- Carson Palmer threw a 13-yard touchdown pass to Larry Fitzgerald, then Jay Feely kicked a 27-yard field goal with 1:29 remaining as the Arizona Cardinals rallied to beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 13-10 on Sunday.

Patrick Peterson had two interceptions, one setting up Arizona's first TD in six quarters, the other to ruin any chance of rookie Mike Glennon pulling off a comeback in his first NFL start for the winless Bucs (0-4).
Feely also kicked a 42-yard field goal for the Cardinals (2-2), who trailed 10-0 at halftime.
Starting in place of the benched Josh Freeman, Glennon was steady - if not spectacular - for most of the game. But it all unraveled after Peterson stepped in front of a pass for Vincent Jackson.
Fitzgerald beat cornerback Darrelle Revis on the next play for his 80th career TD reception.

__

Locker injured in Titans' blowout win over Jets
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Jake Locker threw a career-high three touchdowns before being taken to the hospital with an injured right hip, and the Tennessee Titans beat the New York Jets 38-13 for their second straight victory.

Locker was hurt early in the third quarter when hit first by Muhammad Wilkerson after throwing an incomplete pass, then popped by Quinton Coples. He grabbed at his hip as he went to the ground and was carted off the field before being loaded into an ambulance. The Titans had no immediate word on the severity of his injury.
Alterraun Verner intercepted two passes and recovered a fumble, Karl Klug sacked Geno Smith and stripped him of the ball for a TD as the Titans turned Smith's four turnovers into 28 points. Ropati Pitoitua had two of Tennessee's five sacks as the Titans (3-1) continued their surprising start.
The Jets (2-2) couldn't overcome Smith's rookie mistakes.

__

Peyton throws four TDs as Broncos blow out Eagles
DENVER -- The Denver Broncos scored more points than they ever had in their 54-year history Sunday, blowing out the Philadelphia Eagles 52-20 behind Peyton Manning's four touchdown throws.

With two TD passes each to Demaryius Thomas and Wes Welker, Manning completed all but a half-dozen of his 34 throws for 327 yards. He didn't even step on the field in the fourth quarter.
Manning's 16 TD passes are the most in the first month of a season, besting the previous mark of 14 set by Don Meredith in 1966 and tied by Kurt Warner in 1999. Manning also joined Milt Plum in 1960 as the only quarterbacks to throw that many touchdown passes without an interception.
Manning got off to a rather slow start but drove the Broncos (4-0) on a trio of long touchdown drives in the third quarter to make this one another laugher against the Eagles (1-3).

__

Redskins' defense swarms Raiders for first victory
OAKLAND, Calif. -- Robert Griffin III threw a go-ahead touchdown pass late in the third quarter to help the Washington Redskins overcome an early 14-point deficit to beat the Oakland Raiders 24-14 Sunday for their first win of the season.

David Amerson returned an interception for another score for the Redskins (1-3).
Washington looked ready to extend the worst start for the franchise since 2001 when they fell behind 14-0 after the first quarter thanks to a blocked punt touchdown and a scoring pass from Matt Flynn.
But the much-maligned Washington defense allowed the Raiders (1-3) no more points, taking advantage of an offense that was without starting quarterback Terrelle Pryor the entire game and starting running backs Darren McFadden and Marcel Reece for most of it.

__

Rivers' three TD passes leads Bolts past Cowboys
SAN DIEGO -- Philip Rivers threw for 401 yards and three touchdowns, including a 56-yarder to Antonio Gates, and the San Diego Chargers rallied to beat the Dallas Cowboys 30-21 Sunday.

The Chargers (2-2) had blown late leads in their two losses this season. On Sunday, they scored the final 20 points to beat Dallas (2-2).
Rivers short-armed a pass over the middle to Gates, who slid behind linebacker Sean Lee to haul it in and score with 6:54 to go.
Lee had intercepted Rivers on a deflected pass and returned it 52 yards for a touchdown and a 21-10 lead late in the second quarter. Dallas didn't score again.
Tony Romo moved the Cowboys to the San Diego 7 and hit Terrance Williams, who fumbled at the 1. San Diego's Richard Marshall recovered in the end zone with 2:42 left.

Falcons attempt rally but fall to Brady, Patriots
ATLANTA -- Tom Brady threw for 316 yards and two touchdowns as the New England Patriots held off a furious Atlanta comeback Sunday night, beating the Falcons 30-23 to improve to 4-0 for the first time since their near-perfect season in 2007.
On NFL Network
NFL Replay

The Patriots seemed in control when LeGarrette Blount scored on a 47-yard run, and Brady threw an 18-yard touchdown pass to rookie Kenbrell Thompkins.
Thompkins finished with six catches for 127 yards -- nearly as much as the first three games of his career. Julian Edelman chipped in with 118 yards on seven receptions.
Atlanta (1-3) is two games below .500 for the first time since 2007.

Tony, you're the only quarterback that can have a record-shattering career game and still manage to dick it up. Not entirely his fault, because where the hell is the run game? You can only call so many pass plays before you get picked. A more balanced play-calling would be great.

But, it's not all bad, that game was absolutely insane and definitely made a statement, taking the 'Mighty Broncos', who most would call the best team in the NFL, to their very limit and wits end. Even Peyton himself looked tired and deflated by the last minute of the 4th.

I'd be more upset if the other teams in the NFC East didn't all blow goats, haha. They still got this.

EDIT: Oh, forgot to address this since I never saw it:

On the subject of 'bandwagoners', it doesn't bother me, even though I'm a staunch believer in the old "you can only 'have' one team" unspoken rule. My mom used to date this guy who was a Steelers "and" Vikings fan, and I would bust his balls all the time for it. I can understand liking one player and having a loyalty towards them, as long as you understand that they have no loyalty towards you.

Hell, one of my brother's friends and his wife are Colts fans, but also Manning "fans". They even have a Indianapolis Manning jersey signed by him. They got it a couple years back when he was out all year, and the Colts were up in Jacksonville playing the Jaguars. Since he couldn't play, he spent the whole game walking around signing stuff along the first rows of the crowd. They put it in a picture frame and everything, haha.

Well, yeah, but different opponents. Cleveland's schedule hasn't been that tough. They won some games they 'should' have lost, and lost some games they 'should' have won (well, maybe not, it is Cleveland), just like almost every other team.

Dallas does its fair share of wind-sucking, but, like I said, they've got the division in the bag if they just stay the course, since the Redskins, Giants, and Eagles are just beyond fucking terrible this year. Now, there's no doubt in my mind Dallas will get eliminated in the first playoff round even if they do make it (since they still aren't doing that great at all), but I have complete confidence that the division title will easily be theirs this year.

But, this has been a really weird year in the NFL so far, anyway. Miami and Cleveland are actually doing pretty okay. Giants are 0-and-fucking-5, haha. Kansas City is undefeated (holy shit, who saw that coming?). Pittsburgh is playing like Little Leaguers. Tampa Bay is a slow-motion trainwreck. Everything is just way crazy, anyway. I'm really looking forward to who's going to be where come the second half of the season, when playoff crunch time kicks up.

I'm salivating for next week with my Fantasy league, though. Having Peyton Manning as my QB, going up against the Jaguars. Oh man, it's almost going to be too terrible to watch. It's going to be a goddamn bloodbath. Can't wait for Manning to get me like 50+ points, haha.

Man what a game yesterday!

Cowboys came out to play, but the Broncos stay 5-0 HELL YEAH! I had a feeling this was gonna be a tight game b/c being here in Texas reading Cowboys articles last week you would have thought they were playing for a playoff win. It's how they promoted this game to the fans and how the team talked about how they hated all the Manning talk.

Watched the game with some of my friends who are Cowboys fans and they honestly felt like they could win b/c of all the emotion they put into the game, were the home team, and played outta their minds. 48 pts should win you football games, but the Broncos right now are just ridiculous on offense at the moment.

I'll say this though we need Champ Bailey and after next week Von Miller comes back. We need that pass rushing ability to shore up our sometimes suspect secondary

That Cowboys game was a damn nail biter. I was on the edge of my seat all game long. Even with the loss I'm still proud of the 'Boys for racking up that score like they did. They came to play a damn football game unlike the Texans. Schaub literally bent over for Kaepernick, and I find that to be very satisfying.

I agree with that the Chiefs would have lost as well. I also agree with the fact that the Broncos haven't played anyone that good other than the Cowboys and to a lesser extent the Ravens. That being said even against the Cowboys they dropped a 51 spot on them (on the road no less) so I think the Broncos are still pretty legit to this point. I think the game where we might lose our 1st will either be @IND or @KC after the @NE game on SNF. KC has a fantastic defense and Indy is just playing great right now. Plus the game is on Sunday Night Football so that place will be rockin. I'm sure Manning is gonna make an effort to stick it to the Colts though so we'll see.

In 2 weeks, Broncos defense will be shored up. Its very likely that we will see Champ Bailey come off her ankle sprain this week against the Jags and Von Miller will off his suspension in time for the colts game.

Itll be a tough game but no way near as close in the scoreboard as it was against Dallas.

Broncos earn tougher-than-expected win over Jags
DENVER -- Peyton Manning threw for two scores and Knowshon Moreno ran for three to lead the Denver Broncos to a tougher-than-expected 35-19 victory Sunday over the winless Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Broncos (6-0) came in as heavy favorites, and much of the pregame hype centered on when Manning would come out of the game.
It never happened.
Manning finished 28 for 42 for 295 yards, but lost two fumbles and threw a pick-six -- a 59-yard interception return by Paul Posluszny that pulled the Jaguars (0-6) within 14-12 at halftime.
It was a two-point game late in the third quarter, before Moreno scored his last touchdown, an 8-yard run, for a 28-19 lead. Moreno finished with 42 yards.
Justin Blackmon had 14 catches for 190 yards for Jacksonville.

Quick Take
Full Story
Chiefs beat Raiders in tough divisional matchup
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Jamaal Charles ran for two touchdown; the Kansas City defense harassed Oakland quarterback Terrelle Pryor into throwing three second-half interceptions and the Chiefs remained unbeaten with a 24-7 victory over the Raiders on Sunday.

After winning just twice last season, Kansas City (6-0) continued the second-best start in franchise history. The Chiefs won their first nine games during the 2003 season.
The Chiefs piled up 10 sacks while ending a three-game skid to the Raiders (2-4), and a six-game losing streak against them at Arrowhead Stadium.
Pryor threw for 216 yards and a touchdown, but his interceptions proved costly.
The first led to Charles' go-ahead touchdown run, the second led to Ryan Succop's fourth-quarter field goal, and Husain Abdullah returned the last one for a touchdown to seal the win.
Brady's late heroics lead Patriots to win over Saints
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Tom Brady's 17-yard touchdown pass to Kenbrell Thompkins with five seconds left gave the New England Patriots a wild 30-27 win and knocked the New Orleans Saints from the ranks of the unbeaten Sunday.

It capped a 70-yard drive in which the Patriots marched downfield with no timeouts after getting the ball with 1:08 to go.
The Saints (5-1) had taken a 24-23 lead with 3:29 remaining on Drew Brees' 34-yard touchdown pass to Kenny Stills, but couldn't put away New England.
The Patriots (5-1) survived an interception by Keenan Lewis on their first snap after Garrett Hartley's 39-yard field goal made it 27-23.

COOOOOOOOLTS.

Still hoping Bridgewater goes #1. I think it would be my alma-mater's only first round football pick?

The colts are becoming the main issue of my new problem with football recently.

Why are these are new rookie, or sophmore qbs relying on their teams defense so much to look? Colts blow out Denver by 21 points in the first half and they themselves are loosing by the same during that Colts/Texans game on Sunday. Luck relied on them too much to get that fourth comeback of his.

I dont understand why ppl are saying that teams like Colts or chiefs are superbowl contenders, let alone playoff beasts. KC doesnt have a running game, they rely too much on defense to get their points, hell Im kind of excited for the two Chiefs/Broncos games this year. Finally KC will have to work this season, cause we all know the only tough game they had this year so far was Dallas lol.

Where the hell was that ANDREW LUCK that blew out Denver against the Colts? If you can blow out Denver, then why the hell are you losing to the Houston Texans, who were 2-5 coming in that game, 21-3 in the first half. I understand that Colts lost their prime reciever Reggie Wayne but that is no excuse for his poor performance. If you beat a superbowl contender like Denver but only win against a horrible Texans team by a field, you are not a superbowl contender in any means.

All in all, these new rookie/sophmore qbs are dissapointment. I havent seen a rookie/sophmore that can put consistent numbers since the year Matt Ryan and Joe Flacco were drafted.

KC is a pretty good team, Jamal Charles and Dexter Mcluster can be very reliable. You'll have to forgive Andrew Luck because the Texans are a team that was built to beat up on the colts, their front 7 is disastrous. Plus they play the Colts twice a year every year, so I'm pretty sure they know Andrew well at this point. And Reggie Wayne being out is a HUGE difference... He's been the equalizer against the texans for a long time now.

I am. As long as the opponents are patriot like caliber, we all know Tom brady can win with a shit like team, all is fine.

I blame everything on texans coaching and defense. Their secondary, presumely their safeties, is horrible. They need to fire Coach Kubiak and name Keenum as their starter for the next few seasons. I was amazed at Keenums preformance against the colts. Even though Texans lost that game, he lit it up as if he was Peyton or Brady.

Never blitz Manning. #1 rule.

Send two in and cover the middle or possible slants. If you do not do this right, u will see another re run of the Eagles broncos game. You need to watch pre and post coverage more. Analysts keep saying that the way to beat manning is make him hold the ball longer in the pocket. If u disrupt the time between him and his recievers, he fails. The only team that has actually done that is the Colts.

I am niether a Chiefs or a Broncos fan but

The Chiefs only statement they made: Their offense isn't explosive enough to stay with the league's best teams.
The Chiefs only lost by 10. NFL analysts are really just pundits if you ask me. The game will obviously be a lot more difficult in Kansas City. The Chiefs are not 1-9 ( like the Jags my team :P ), they are 9-1. That's a good football team the Broncos defeated last night.
team that is this new should have been beaten by most of the teams they have played regardless what those teams records were. the broncos, who are an absolutely phenomenal team with one of the best qb's to have ever played the sport, should've killed a team that has 32 new players and a new coach, especially at home. you can say what you want about the chiefs' schedule being soft, but at the end of the day, a win is a win and anyone can win on any given sunday (and thursday and monday). any of the teams that chiefs played could have beaten the chiefs but they didn't. do i think the chiefs are going to the superbowl? no. will they probably lose pretty quickly in the playoffs? yes. but give credit where credit is due. they managed a complete turnaround from last season. good for them.

I have been a chiefs fan for a long time and they played like shit. there was many times the defense gave them opportunities they just couldn't capitalize on them. their offense need a lot of work, and it is nice to see Carolina actually winning some games too. still think Denver will be in the super bowl

Here are the current standings.
Even The Jags are in The hunt for the Playoffs after starting 0-8. :-o
It would be neat if a Team 7-9 go in the Playoffs. but all these lucky Scenarios would have to happen. but to me I dont want it. I'd rather Have a 1st rounder QB. Don't think They even had a 1st pick over all. they only had number 2.
but 7-9 record hasn't happened yet, but its a possibility it could happen some day...the last team that came close to making the playoffs at 7-9 was the 2006 new york football giants...they went into the final week 7-8 and had they lost in the final game and 4 other 7-8 teams lost they would have won the tiebreaker of all the 7-9 teams but they won and went into the playoffs at 8-8

They should change the rules about a game ending in a tie!
and make it until some one win!
It really boring dont you say?
last one was since 11/11/12 until GB and MIN

That game was suppose to go in a TIE! I was hoping for a tie but this will do .
anyway
the defense of the broncos side was mostly played.
Manning only had 150 yard and Brady had 344
this game was a classic! with an unsuspecting ending.
Tom Brady is just on another level. Down by 24 points to the best team in the league, and he still finds a way to win. Unreal.
Sloppy game... Poorly played by both teams if Denver doesn't pull a try to run the clock out from the 1st quarter and just play their game it's a blow out

Broncos sweep Chiefs AGAIN!!! 35-28 at Arrowhead, shocking! Broncos get the 1st seed in the playoffs too.

Peyton Manning now have 40 touchdowns and 4,000+ passing yards on the season. And LOL at Knowshon Morenos 31 yard catch, he was crawling like a soldier!

Ryno

Well we already know who the top dogs are going to make the playofs but for the wild card / 6th seed

For the under dogs. this has been a weird season. almost like what happen to the sea hawks a few years ago. they made the playoffs with a 7-9 record. and look. The Texans and The jags can actually make the Playoffs with all of these scenarios. and Texans is in last place! Jags started 0-8 to start of the season. The Texans have a 9 game losing streak.
even others are commenting about it.

To me though. Need 1st round draft pick QB!

Piss poor is when u play so bad that u dont even score. I can garuntee that the game would have been 49-35, with the Chiefs having won, if their recievers caught those passes. When Smith threw that 20+ yard throw to Jenkins, I was like "shit, here comes overtime. Back to back overtime upsets".

The game of the year hasnt come yet imo. Wait til the Broncos and Patriots meet again. Its gonna be a tougher game cause the Patriots will have Aqib Talib and their leading pass rusher/defensive captain Jerod Mayo back.

Will Houston be a contender next year after having fired Gary Kubiak and getting a very high draft pick?

Nah, this team needs a complete overhaul on defense, srsly Jags embarrased that secondary. They need to tell Schaub to gtfo, and start Keenum(he has alot of potential).

Denver Kicker Matt Prater now holds the record for longest field goal in NFL history. 64 YARDS!!!

Ryno
Dec 9, 2013, 12:45 AM
Might as well post this.

Even though Bears and Cowboys are playing tom. they will still be in the Hunt.

but. 2 teams Clinch a playoff spots With Broncos winning over the titans which makes the Colts Clinch a playoff.

The Niners won. which made some teams be elimnated from the playoffs.

there were some surprising games ( besides the 64 yard field goal by prater )

The Baltimore and Vikings game was surprising.

It was back to back touch downs within 2 minutes and with 4 seconds the Ravens win.

Joe Flacco threw a 9-yard touchdown pass to rookie Marlon Brown with 4 seconds left, capping a flurry of scores on an icy field and giving the Baltimore Ravens a 29-26 victory over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.

another surprise. was the Dolphins and steelers.

Antonio Brown raced into the end zone after a series of laterals on the final play, but officials ruled he stepped out before scoring. The Steelers could have won.

Another one

The Patriots and The Browns
Tom Brady threw two touchdown passes in the final seconds left, helping the New England Patriots rally for a 27-26 victory over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.
Brady completed a 10-yard pass to Danny Amendola. Then Leon Mcfadden was called for defensive pass interference in the end zone. That put the ball at the 1, where Brady connected with Amendola again.
The Browns then moved the ball to the Patriots' 40 with 1 second left, but Billy Cundiff missed the field goal.

Well since the jags wont get the number draft pick might as well try for playoffs. they are sitting at number 7 draft pick.. SMH...
So far playoffs. I've been studying on it..LOL My jags to make the Playoffs by..

I wanted The Dolphins and the ravens and The Jets to lose. It was close. though besides the Jets.

Now it's a must lose for them next week to lose all three for the Fins and Ravens. The Jets have to lose 2 and win against the Fins. I have a feeling it might happen. by the look of their schedule ( becuase their is the broncos and pats they are facing plus other good teams ). %70 the other teams i have a feeling they are going to lose by the look of the remain schedules. LoL. 85%

and that's how I have hope for the Jaguars Making the playoffs. Jus need to win out! and for the Jags I have hope winning out 85% The jags are facing the bills this week and they have a 2 game losing streak. and then the following week the Titans and they have a 2 game losing streak and the jags defeated them as well. so there is hope. :D

Yeah I'm expecting Johnny Football to go pro as well so he will be missed by fellow Aggies everywhere. Texans should draft Bridgewater with the 1st pick, but I'm sure there are a lot of Texans/Aggie fans who are gonna be pulling for Manziel to be drafted there instead.

It was crazy bad down here when they didn't take Vince Young as Texans/Longhorn fan went all crazy, and hell just this season you had Texans/UH Cougars fans and alumini talking about how Case Keenum should be the starter for the Texans next year haha. Blown the eagles lost that game, the Saints compitalized on the eagles offensive blunders (and special teams). Exciting NFC Champ game. Even with a ridiculous fumble recovery ruling and four blown calls in Q3, it was still the Niners' game to lose... and they did.

So, well played, Seattle, but due to Sherman's conduct and your fans throwing garbage on Bowman as he was carried off the field, I'll be rooting for Denver to embarrass your clown asses.

Where was that no huddle offense that blew out last years Superbowl winner, the Ravens in the first week of the season? If they are going to stack the box, you should just run no huddle and call that OMAHA audible at the line. The no huddle is what brought the spotlight onto Denver in the beginning season, why abandon it when it was workin so well?
