Clones are ridiculously overpowered on lower difficulties, since Sega didn't bother to scale their level 50-something-with-maxed-out-gear stats down very well. If you don't have a ranger to keep Weak Bullet on them, you're pretty much screwed. Especially if they're a bunch of Forces.

...That said, though, I actually love overpowered enemies that make you scream "WTF!!! THIS IS BULLSHIT!!!" at your computer, because, by their very nature, ridiculous enemies create lulz. We need more troll enemies like clones in this game, because as it stands now, everything dies ridiculously quickly if your party knows what it's doing. The best enemies make you rage first, then look back and laugh later. :-P

PSO2 needs more of those.

Seriously, though, they can still catch you off guard if you're not careful, not prepared, and/or have shit gear (like me). Especially if you have a full party, and there are four of them. A single clone is easy enough to handle, even if it's strong enough to one-shot you, but it's much easier to lose track of one in the chaos and get blindsided when you have 7 other player avatars running around shooting and slashing and blasting techs at each other, and then it's 4 on 3 until the others can revive you. Plus, not all clones are created equal; some are stronger than others, depending on the cloned player in question.

I personally think they're just right and don't need to be nerfed or buffed. In fact, I think there should be harder enemies that appear out of nowhere like clones. Like I said before, the best enemies are the ones that make you rage.

Depends a lot on the clone, I met two clones between 20-30, first clone I met was a force that one shots me before I could go up to burn/poison. Nothing I could do but call a teammate, who promptly got killed too.

Second clone I met was a gunner who did nothing but run around and ping me for 3 damage at a time. Killed it quite easily although it took a while.

At low levels the type of clone makes a huge difference. Especially since it takes a long while to kill a clone with status effects. I can't imaging trying to kill a clone with Automate as a low level, must be insane.

Well, I guess I can't say with absolute certainty. But when I was messing around with Ninja Ripper to try and get some dumps of some models from the game while it was running, I got that for my character. Now I don't know for sure that its the only one they use, but I would venture to guess that female humans and newmans share/use copies of each others' textures for everything but the ears and that female casts have a copy paste of the texture as well. Its an educated guess I suppose, but I can't really test it with the servers down.

After all, I know that outfits that are shared between races are no different. As much of a mindfuck as it may be to some people, the ONLY thing different between a human and newman as far as appearances go is the ears. Whether SEGA was derp and decided to have the game load the same texture twice, like many people have noticed them doing with other stuff, is another matter entirely. I do know the outfits that are shared aren't duplicated though as far as I can tell.

The only way to solo banthers, I've found, is to be right next to them. Honestly, I have no idea how to do it on any class besides hunter. He moves so fast that any time you dodge a move, he hits you with another before you can recover. The only way to evade consistently is to just guard his attacks. Honestly, he's still the hardest boss I've ever soloed, and I have no idea how you're supposed to deal with him besides being in a group, or using a sword.

I only lock onto his weakspot + body, using the change target button (Alt on keyboards, whatever button for controllers) so that I get 2 shots out of HE. 24kx2 at the same speed (or even faster) than a 34k Sneak Shot is pretty good if you ask me.

The game's great, but repetitive. Simply log on when you feel like playing a beatemup. Treat it like those old SNES games you can beat in 2 hours, but played for years.

I've found that it makes a great couple with WoW. This game has great action, visuals, and character customization. WoW has great exploration, teamwork, and immersion. Once I burn out of one, I move to the other.

Yeah, don't ever expect a single game to be able to hold your attention forever. This has not been true for any single game in the history of mankind, so why would it be true of PSO2?

I personally flit between Warframe, PSO2, and Mechwarrior Online on a fairly regular basis, in addition to messing around with my various single player games as the mood strikes me. I can't even imagine just sticking to one game for more than a day or two. It just doesn't work for me.
