View Full Version : GU Zero Range Buff and 9000M latent

is it worth maxing Zero Range Buff? assuming u need to be right next to the monster/boss (gun tip touching enemy) wont it be very hard to benefit from the buff? especially from Fang Banther moving about?

(any videos to proof it works?)

does the 9000M latent work in the same way? or there is a defined range to be close range?


Any video to show a play style with twin guns to best benefit from these buffs?

9000M latent is pretty much the same thing as ZRA, you need to kiss the monsters basically

I'm a so called 'melee' gunner and let me tell you are better off going for another gun like the Fleet Malinka and the Surukurai. Those are easier to get you just need to go out of your way to farm the stones basically and buy the trade in weapon for the shop.

There's over 40 r-atk to gain from this and these weapons can have their elements easily switched or boosted for even a higher damage increase because they are so easy to get.

If you have ZRA 1 + 2 maxed and play consistently to utilize ZRA with TMGs (basically through Infinite Fire or Satellite Aim, Bullet Squall sometimes) it is your TMG of choice to add another 16% at potential level 3 - essentially a ZRA 3. Actually the maxed potential is 1% stronger than a level 10 ZRA, lol. GJ Sega.

Unfortunately Homing Emission trumps TMG in many 'zero range' situations, but that's for another topic..

Hint: The new EQ has made 50 element Yas9M much more realistic.

I was hoping so but it seems like the drop rate off of Rog is really that bad. Ikutachi was down for a day at 1.5 mil, but it shot back up quickly.

Yas crashed to around 3-4mil day 1 of the EQ, but then people started to consider making 50 element (all the Light and Fire ones below 7mil vanished pretty quick).

There's also the fact that since then the Rainy EQ hasn't appeared as much as everyone kind of hopes for. After day 1 it doesn't seem to have much priority over multi-City, multi-Amdu, Vardha, Falz and now you can't actually tell which of the multi-EQs it will be until the hour. On the upside, when Interrupt Ranking happens it's time to spam that boss for 400% droprate!

Besides if your aim is to hunt Rogbelt for it you are much better off to just Area 2 MPA grind and pray to RNG god rather than be trolled by that single Area 3 boss that doesn't even spawn adds.

if they change all Gu's pa to use r-atk only that would be good for max both zra

Yasmin9k is the best TMG for gunner right now, it doesn't matter if others add 30-50 damage, the % in weapon potential adds a lot of damage and is hardly outdamaged. If you don't play on zero range, don't bother with it, otherwise, it's the best you can get.
200k+ damage with Messiah (WB, 19chain combo, and zero range) on falz arms.
Some Gunner's PAs and Skills are getting balanced (nerfs and buffs) on May 29th patch so I would wait to see changes then decide on weapon, still a good choice.

P.S. Before the boss galore EQ, Yasmin9k ran for like 30mil, I expect the current stock to sell out in a week or two.
