Newb Question: Mag Evolution to Carina

Okay, trying to make a Tech/Striking Carina mag and I need to know if I'm understanding this correctly. When I reach level 100 with tech 51 and strike 49, it will turn into a Monoceros. Now, afterwards if I feed to level 105 with tech at 51 and strike at 54, would it turn into a Carina mag since it's locked into the "Lepus" evolution branch?

If you wanna skip the Monoceros part (so it changes directly to a Carina at level 100 and you get the proper trigger action), get it to 48 tech first, then 47 striking.

When a mag reaches level 95 it gets locked in a "branch" (meaning that it won't change from Lepus to Lyra anymore, even if you get the striking points higher than tech). So with those stats you will have your mag at level 95 being a Lepus. Then simply raise the striking 5 more levels and you'll get your Carina at level 100.
