Sega ID one time password

Has anyone successfully managed to set this yet? For some reason it's taken a dislike to any form of password that I input. The PIN I want to use is fine. It does come up with a helpful message in Japanese that i don't understand but as I'm currently at work I can't upload a screen grab.

Changing the standard password for regular login was fine.

You are going to need either a smartphone or a token to setup the one time password. If you have a smartphone, download Secure OTP from your OS's store and use that. (Note: It cannot be a tablet. Requires a phone number.) If smartphone is not something you can get your hands on, you're gonna have to buy a token off Amazon JP or something.

OTP is not required, but it would be something you'd want to prevent hacking.

That's great, thanks for the info. I have a BB Curve so I won't be using the smart phone method;-) A token it is then.
