Can't get Gilnas to spawn for the life of me.

Where's the best place to find him? I've been running around Free Desert and the Missions all day.

Desert and Mines. There are a few that always spawn in the Lillipa Time Attack.

Do the Lillipa time attack mission. There are a few guaranteed Gilnas spawns in there.

Area 3 of the lillpan rescue mission in mines of the arks quest, they spawn there pretty often.

That and transmizer take down seems to spawn several as well.

Tranmizer Takedown is your absolute best bet for Gilnas. It's the only mission where they spawn regularly.

View the enemy records to see the spawn rates of enemies. That said, I've seen quite a few in Transformer Takedown and Distress Signal.

This. I got all five of mine on this run. You can run back and forth through areas to get more to spawn.

And you don't have to restart like everyone tells you to! :D

Start Desert TA and go to the left, a gilnas spawns there. Restart quest and repeat until your CO is complete.
