Friend is not receiving authentication code

A friend of mine got a new computer today. Trouble is, Sega is asking him for an authentication key that he says does not appear in his mail. I've been trying to help him but we haven't gotten anywhere so far. :s

Anyone have any idea how to fix this or have had similar experiences?

From personal experience, I know that @aol.com addresses won't receive those mails.
I had to switch to an @yahoo.com address to get the codes.

Is he using Hotmail?

He uses Gmail. I use Hotmail and I don't have any problems with it.

It happens and don't know why.
Only thing he had to do is to try another email address, unfortunally.

You can try getting it resent again to the e-mail otherwise use a alt e-mail like Reiketsu said.
