My character has disappeared. Please Help!

I finally got PSO2 running and was able to play for a couple hours. After logging out and coming back I found that my character has disappeared from the database. At least, that's if I'm doing it right. I logged back in using my SEGA ID and when to the Character Select screen, but the only option is to make a new character in which I have to pay to create a new one. At this early in the game I don't feel like paying any money to have a new character created.

What's the deal?

Maybe you tried to log into the wrong ship instead of the one you originally created your character in.

I didn't know that the ship had anything to do with the characters. I couldn't remember my original ship, so I'll ship hopping and see if I can locate it.

yeah, your character can only be in one ship unless you pay to transfer to another one
