window 8 cannot start game?

anyone have a problem opening pso2? my window 8 automatically updated itself today (11 Jul) and afterwards, when I open client and press the big start button, the game will not run [only the client remains, no black out screen that leads to the preview vid of pso2]

I already the game checker (3rd button on client) and it says its the updated version (01.08.01)

what should I do to make the game work?

Uninstall Windows 8 and get XP instead.

I'm running it on Win 8 without any problems at all.
Try doing a file check (ファイルチェック) from the launcher, and see what happens.

did that, and also uninstall and reinstall client, and did it again,


nothing, client still stays,
how do I get it to work?

i think it's the rights problem. Use AIDA's tweaker.

Im having a problem similar to this. When I click PSO2 It says "Phantasy Star Online 2 Is not corresponding with your OS system" <-- This is devastating. I'm using Parallels because I have mac.. It's running on Win 8 also. But the thing is Parallels has worked before flawlessly. So what exactly can I do to fix this? Im gonna go to BootCamp but since they don't sell Windows 7 in stores I had to order it. It'll be here in about a business week.

right click the pso2 desktop or quick launch button and click run as admin.
