My mag changed?

My mag was a dex mag at lvl 30, but I decided to change it a bit and feed it more ranged weapons, and at lvl 40 it changed into a ranged mag with a different PB. Any idea why that is?:-?

they change every 5 levels if you switch the ratio of the stats to something fitting some other mag, you could avoid that by double levelling two stats at once

By this he means if it is 39, make 2 stats go up a level at once so it completely skips over level 40 and goes straight to 41.
