That message means you need to update your game. It should update when you click the blue button.

that's what i get when i click the blue button , and it's my first time trying to instal the game how should i update it

use aidas tweaker to fix the files permissions or rappy perms.

so whent its saying that it downloaded the latest version

dont press ok, leave it, run the tweaker and use the fix permissions thing

after its done, you can press ok on the game's updater, then fix the permissions again.


thats what i do when the updates get crazy.

Just use the Tweaker to check for PSO2 Updates and click NO when it asks if the game was working fine before you used the feature.
Also, DO NOT INSTALL THE LATEST STORY PATCH, IT BREAKS CHARACTER CREATION!

Just don't download it.

Also, the first time you run the game it WILL take a decent time.
With my shit internet speed it took me around 3 hours to patch the game, only 732MB

Strange that I wasn't aware of this. No one has mentioned it to me. As far as I know (I use it myself) it works fine.

I'll investigate this right now and get back to you on that. I extremely doubt that there's an issue, though, as I'm pretty sure my brother just made a character the other day with the Story Patch.

The Tweaker found a new story patch like 2 or 4 hours ago, that patch seems to have broken the char creation.
